My always go-to every single time I visit Brighton Beach. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Make sure to ask for the little older waiter with short hair she's the best!

I have been coming here at least 10 years. When I see sun in the sky I know a lamb kebab and unbelievably warm service await. I am consistently treated like a queen and never feel rushed or unwelcome. I am so glad they remain thriving post Covid. 1000% recommend

The fried potatoes with mushrooms are so delicious I dream about them. They also have yummy salads, borscht, cheese pastries. I’m not a meat eater but I’m sure the meat dishes are good. But those potatoes and mushrooms….mmmmmmmm.

Good eats with fresh dishes. Service was good, expect to spend roughly 20-30 per person. We did the Greek salad, assortment of different kebabs, manti, hachipouri, and potatoes with mushrooms. Compote was good and a bit sweet.

This was my absolute favorite restaurant to experience in Brooklyn. The portion size was familial in its generosity. The Carrot Salad was vibrant and rich in garlic, extremely refreshing on a summer day. The Fried Potatoes were thoroughly tossed with dill and were fried lightly to perfection. Couple the Stroganoff with the mashed potatoes, and achieve the highest pairing of comforted bliss. The Cherry Compote was a delightful surprise, no syrup or over rich sweet aftertaste, just complimentary and sublime. The only competition to the food was the phenomenal customer service. I had the honor of being served by one of the owners, Nadya, who showered me in hospitality worthy of the most beloved of grandmothers. I was not going to leave hungry or dissatisfied on her watch. I cannot wait to return some day to thank her again for the experience.

This restaurant serves Uzbek type food, the portions are ample sized, meat dishes are good, I preferred beef, it tends to be more tender. Compote is made with little sugar, so it doesn't taste too sweet, some people like it that way, to my taste it could be done better. Avocado salad was good, potato with mushrooms were good, they put garlic there, I like it that way too. Wait staff is nice, some are easy on the eyes, they leave you alone but they are always in the vicinity. I like this place.

They have the best shashlyk/kebab in the whole area! If ordering, make sure to get lulya kebab and lamb rib shashlyk with no fat! Make sure to ask for no fat ones, they are the best. Skip bread/lepyoshka, instead get manty. We ordered chicken tabaka, the sauce that comes with it is absolutely amazing! When done with food, walk over next door for the best desert cakes luke napoleon.
