Visited here for dinner and returned the next day for
brunch! Amazing view, lively atmosphere! Turkish breakfast was sooo good and more than enough for two people. Def will be back
Arrived 1 hour early for my Sunday bike ride. Decided to grab some coffee & breakfast at Rocca.
The inexpensive brunch menu caught my attention and drew me in like a fisherman’s reel. My expectation was not high.
As I walked in the door and saw a glimmer of the bay at the end of the room, everything changed. My walk became a gait and I felt a jolt of excitement as my eyes devoured the expanse of the sunroom and the boats docked in the bay.
The Turkish coffee tasted glorious as did the eggs Benedict with salmon. I ordered another cappuccino for a 2nd dose of caffeine.
I must emphasize the VENUE more because I can easily sit here for hours watching the Swan swoop down into the bay or just observing a person hosing down a boat. Serenity is often found in a church, and least expected in a restaurant.
Finally, they also have a large variety of Hookah’s to choose from. But the icing on the cake for me is the BYOB for a $25 cork fee. 🥇🥇. Now I can hear the Angels hark on high with a glass of Cabernet in hand.
11/18/23 update: returned for encore. Just as fabulous as the first visit with 2 gals this time. The men’s room needs a bug zapper…
Again, I cannot think of a better venue for Sunday in Brooklyn. The views & ambiance is incredible 🍾🍾🎉🎉
Great spot in Brooklyn!
Service is very attentive and professional. Food is amazing. They also have great hookah in dedicated sections. On a nice day, the view of the marina can be lovely.
If you want to have a delicious breakfast, you must try here. Their Turkish breakfast menu was really good. But you have to order Sucuklu Yumurta and Menemen. Without these two extra orders, it won't be a complete Turkish breakfast. And these orders will be enough for two people.
It's location and view is good. Service is speedy, smily faces.
Only prices are a little salty, may be it is because of NY
Rocca definitely Rocks in terms of quality food, great service and friendliness of staff, the interior and the views of Marine really adds up to the atmosphere in this cafe. Definitely recommend. The prices are affordable for the enjoyment you get.

Sitting right on the water, Rocca offers a stunning dining experience. Upon entry, I was charmed by the vastness of the establishment, which can easily and comfortably accommodate lots of guests.
What truly set the tone for the evening was the live music and vocalist. The singer's performance was beautiful and it perfectly complemented the restaurant's aura. The volume was also not overbearing and allowed for our party to have clear conversations.
To start, the restaurant brought us warm bread that was delicately sprinkled with sesame seeds. The breads softness coupled with a slight crunch left a great first impression on what was to come.
While I opted for the Blue Hawaiian drink, it leaned a touch too sweet for my palate, with hints reminiscent of a Kool-Aid flavor profile. Nonetheless, it was well put together and I believe it spoke to the craftsmanship and offerings at Rocca’s bar.
We had hookah at our table and although it was smooth, I would’ve preferred it to be a tad cloudier. The servers' attempts to enhance the experience were commendable, though the difference was subtle. Despite my comments, the hookah was great.
Service at Rocca was a standout feature. Our appetizers arrived promptly, and I was delighted with the falafel, featuring deep-fried chickpeas and vegetables. The falafel was perfectly fried, devoid of any excessive oiliness that can often overwhelm such dishes. The accompanying hummus, though amazing, could have benefited from a touch more acidity to truly elevate the dish.
A surprising twist came with the order of fries, crispy and unexpectedly one of the menu's highlights, despite being a Mediterranean restaurant. They remain a memorable side dish that I would highly recommend.
For the main course, I ordered the Chicken Shish, which had a nice grilled flavor accompanied with well-balanced seasoning. As for the rice, though pleasant, they could have used a bit more seasoning, even just more salt, to reach its full potential.
Rocca’s portion sizes are indeed generous, ensuring that no guest leaves hungry.
A special mention goes to our server, Yasin, who elevated the dining experience with impeccable service. Yasin's attentiveness, deep knowledge of the menu, and seamless efficiency indicated years of experience and a commitment to ensuring our needs were met proactively.
In conclusion, Rocca is a must-try destination where stunning views, live music, and attentive service merge seamlessly with a diverse menu.
Had a great time here, the music is great and the food is even better. If you want a quiet dinner this isn’t the place to go on the weekends but since we were here celebrating a birthday it was the perfect vibe. I shared the grilled platter and it was excellent. Definitely would come back!
I had the delight of going there for the first time with my girlfriend and brother from another mother Yucel. Amazing place. Fun atmosphere. Live music. The food is excellent. The meat is tender and perfectly seared. The DJ plays a variety of music to cater to all cultures plus a live musician. Very fun safe place by the water. Very classy. We drove from central NY Syracuse area to come see this place. Did not disappoint. The owners are very amiable gentlemen. Lifetime memories. Thank you
Located in the heart of Brooklyn, Rocca Cafe and Lounge offers a fantastic atmosphere with great hookah and hospitable staff. Although a bit pricey, the hookah selection is top-notch, and the flavors are delicious. The ambiance is simply fantastic, with stylish décor and a cozy atmosphere that's perfect for spending an evening with friends or that special someone. Also with the boat view over the water, I really loved it. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, Rocca Cafe and Lounge is a great place to unwind and relax with good food, great hookah, and fantastic company. Highly recommended!
