Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! The pizza had the perfect crisp and flavor. Calamari was phenomenal - so much flavor and crispy. Would recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian food!

Had the anchovie and margerita pizza. Everything was delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and the pizza crust is a bit crispier than your typical brickoven pizza. They use beer (other half brewery) to make the dough which gives it an interesting twist. Thumbs up!
As close to a true cozy Italian Osteria this side of the Atlantic you can get. I haven’t had food like this since I was in Italy. The owner, Michael, described to us the technique with the ancient grains they use, and you can taste the difference. As for the wine, the selection is carefully curated to match the vibe, price, and food. I will be returning as soon as possible.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! Atmosphere and service were great, even had a tiramisu to-go as we had enough food already. Starters, pizza and desert were all really good!
Don't sleep on this place. The chef is creating some really nice pies with depth and character in his ingredient combinations and execution. The dough for me is excellent. Its Not your traditional new york pizza slice joint but it doesnt detract from the experience in my opinion. Also the other food offered is quite good as well. The fried dough, cold cut pistachio thing was fire and the gnocchi dish i had one time was delicious as well. Save room for dessert because the tiramasu tasted fresh and was a delightful ending to a wonderful meal.

Have had 8 years of Italian food in Carroll Gardens and can safely say this Southern Italian spot is phenomenal —and going to last. The ancient grains pizzas are a low gluten, satisfying approach to crust. Eggplant appetizer unexpectedly amazing. They make their own mozzarella. And a glass of great table wine is $7! Destined to be a locals hang. Strong recommend.

The service is fine. When you’re there, you get the vibe that you’re being taken care of.
The huge catch is the line to get in is pretty long.
Also, on Sunday night the hipster waiter was a bit on the rude side when I came to pick up the pie I ordered three hours in advance.
“I don’t know what to tell you, we’re really busy right now.” As I waited other 20 minutes.
I’m not going to knock any stars for that though because of the quality owner and the quality food.
