Already long-established as a standby for hearty and wholesome breakfast and lunch fare, now Pitanga brings the same philosophy into the dinner space. Their comforting classics, updated traditional dishes (the moqueca will not soon leave my mind), and vegan friendliness will leave you feeling both treated and nourished!

I am the No.1 Fan of brunch pitanga, the best place, but today I went to dinner since they now have dinner hours, I must say that the dinner is as good as the brunch, wow with the food!!.. it is INCREDIBLE . The place is perfect for a date, it is romantic and perfect. The staff is super friendly, the Bartender Frida is super friendly and the owners are very kind to all their customers. I will definitely return as many times as possible. I recommend “The Warning Olives” and Coxinha for starters, and for the main course “Local Chicken” is highly recommended, it is super delicious.

I’m a big fan of their lunches so when I heard they were doing dinner my partner and I went to check it out. We got a tasty cocktail, the chicken plate, the fish special and the cheese bread. Everything was delicious. The ambiance is romantic / classy - a good place to take your parents. The value vs price is skewed a bit to smaller portions than expected, but the service was attentive, friendly and sweet. Can’t wait to go back to try the other items on the menu!

Pitanga is one of my favorite places in Bushwick. Not only does it have great food and barista beverages, but it also has a really solid cup of coffee. I’ve tried most of their breakfast items, juices, salads, and smoothies, and everything is always fresh delicious and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to try their dinner service next time I go!

The food was very healthy and delicious. Everything tasted very fresh and the atmosphere was very chill. My only gripe was service sending the wrong orders multiple times

Julie, Todd, and the whole crew were awesome on night 6 of Pitanga’s dinner service. My friend and I were tucked in our favorite corner booth and enjoyed the Pao de Queijo basket (delicious as they are almost bite-sized!), the Coxinha, and the rainbow carrots. All were FABULOUS, not to mention the gin gimlet and pear mocktail made by Todd at the bar. He even made it extra sweet, just the way I like it.Our local coffee/brunch spot just became our new happy hour spot!! Bringing the whole crew.

I was happily surprised to learn Pitanga now serves dinner. Since I was a fan of there breakfast, I tried it out. Pitanga's dinner is a great mix of Brazilian favorites and American fare. There are both vegan and meat options to choose from. Each item I tried was super flavourful. I also loved their drinks &dessert.

I love this place. Whenever you try to go somewhere to get fresh, slightly healthier food, you always wonder if it's going to be one of those amazing bowls/salads/whatevers of your life or a bit of a letdown that's more of a treat for your body than it is for your senses (or sometimes neither). Happy to say in this case, it's a treat for both. GREAT, FRESH, GOOD FOOD. Healthy, delicious. What more needs to be said? I'd be here every other day if I lived here. Bonus: love it when a good food cafe also has coffee/espresso drinks worth ordering.

Delicious high quality food for even the pickiest of eaters. I love that the owner is passionate about using consciously sustainable and even hyper-local ingredients (a rare find in this cutting-corners economy). Relaxed, comfortable, open-air ambiance. FAN!

So happy this place expanded! Came in for brunch with my friend and her daughter. We got lots of things to try. An açaí bowl, a smoothie, green juice, the kale Cesar salad which was bomb with the cashew dressing and the tofu scramble - my only feedback is that the tofu scramble was sweet and it was overwhelming. I’m unsure why someone would put agave in a tofu scramble. Can’t wait to come back here for dinner, the staff all were amazing as well!
