I started going years ago when it first opened. I even rented the space previously for an event. The food and drinks are both good overall all. The restaurant now seems to cater to a more "trendy crowd" which is not necessarily a bad thing. I was there this weekend and the music was good but EXTREMELY loud which make it challenging to have a conversation with my friends. The staff was nice but after taking our order our server never returned until our meals were done to check in on us. I like having the option of good restaurants in BK so I hope these is fixable things.

First time, went with coworkers. Great after work spot! Caribbean vibe, Good food(oxtail spring rolls!!), Good drinks(Rum Punch and Rosemary something) Could use less ice & larger highball glasses needed😁). Turned into a club on the lower level. Great music, just more appropriate for 20/25yr olds. We'll be back for the food and drinks!

BRUNCH REVIEW: Woodland is the type of place you have to be in the mood for. It’s a GREAT party brunch spot. Amazing music. The people are always dancing and having a great time. The service varies. I have spent nearly two hours here waiting for food with a large group - but in all honestly didn’t realize how much time had passed as we were partying in our section and they had the mimosas flowing. If you are starving and want a quick bite this isn’t it. If you want to party , grab some solid food and have fun. This is the place. Take your friends from out of town here to show them a good time. Just arrive EARLY.....earlier than normal “NYC Brunch” time...you’ll prob still have to wait because your early wasn’t early enough. Just not as long as the average unknowing Joe. My go-to dish is the chicken and waffles. They are great every time. That chicken is fried to perfection. All and all - 3 stars for the party vibe they have and +1 star for the fact that you get food and bottomless mimosa for a reasonable price.

Whew chile! It's a must you visit Woodland! Went here for brunch and it changed my life lol. The vibes, the freaking vibes were everything!! The food, the drinks, the people... everything was on! Our waitress was super attentive, gave suggestions and made sure that we were able to save a little coin based on how we configured the order. I loooovvveee this place! I'll be back here every single time I come to NY!

I had drinks only. Next time I go back I'll have the vegetable dish with the jasmine rice and curry. They use thighs and the dark meat of chicken. I dont eat that. lol. I know that's where the flavor is. Me and a Friend had drinks. That rum punch kicks azz. It does the job

Awesome vibe. Amazing music. Iara was perfect with her service. They kept mimosas refilled. Drinks were strong and they were very attentive. The portions were huge and very well flavored. The chicken and waffles were made with thight meat but seasoned perfectly. Great spot to party and brunch which is perfect for me coming from Atlanta.

I went to this restaurant for a b-day celebration. The music was continuous and LOUD. The selection is not what I listen to, but I got into it as it went on. The Food: What I ate was good. I had their traditional Mac and cheese. The Mac cheese had a slight spiciness which was interesting, but good. Will try the shrimp or chicken version on my next visit. I also had there chicken and waffle. That was good as well, and very filling. A couple people in our group ordered the Rasta pasta and had to send it back because it was too spicy. I had tasted one of the penne, they were not exaggerating. They had no problem getting new servings. The overall experience was good. Though there was a hiccup when the cake was brought to the table. IT WAS THE WRONG CAKE!! The situation was rectified pretty quickly, but it was funny while it lasted. Oh and apparently the lower level is used as a dance floor after a certain time. I can't remember what time though, 'cause not my scene. Women free, men pay. But for specifics call the venue.

The food here was surprisingly excellent all around. I can critique each dish but that's just me nit picking at that point. We stumbled here randomly on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised was the ambiance. Clearly it was setup for a boozy brunch Saturday when they asked us for ID at the door. We nearly left but I decided let's just stay and try the food, no booze for us this afternoon. I'm glad we stayed and definitely enjoyed everything we ordered, the attentiveness of the wait staff was also excellent. Water glasses never empty and checked in on us quite often. Had it felt more like a restaurant and less like a club I think I would've gave this place 5 stars easily but the music being loud and whole vibe being more like a club than a place to eat even though everyone was sitting at tables for brunch was a bit weird.

• I’m convinced more than ever that the phrase “It’s Lit” was born here. I just know it happened when someone got up on a table & yelled it out & an entire culture was created. • The food here is delicious. The chicken & red velvet waffle pictured here were awesome. So awesome in fact I actually asked people if they wanted a bite. Dafuq was I thinking? • This place isn’t a restaurant. It’s a vibe. If you come here you’ve gotta be in a certain mindset. And that mindset rhymes with hearty because the mindset’s “party.” • I make my biggest fuss when it comes to brunch. I can easily become a devoted customer to a spot if, at the very least, their brunches are fun, lively & offer good options. This place does exactly that. • This place gets crowded and crowded fast so make your reservations early because their line is no joke. But once you’re inside you’ll understand why 🙌

Very nice spot to chill and grab some late night food and drinks. Even on a Sunday night. Good amount of people but not so much that you felt uncomfortable eating. Music was kinda loud but that's too be expected. Food was great. Chicken was moist, drink was strong and the desert was amazing!!!!
