FOB brooklyn is your hub for authentic Filipino flavors. They serve wide range of dishes from Filipino BBQ to classic comfort items.
We start with Tuna Kilawin and sisig for the appetizer, the fresh tuna paired with taro chips offers a unique burst of flavor, while the sisig boasts a perfect blend of sweet, salty and vinegary goodness. For the main courses, my favorite was the grilled spare ribs and the Liempo, it was so delicious. And of course we have to get the special Filipino dessert called Halo Halo. It’s loaded with tasty toppings and crowned with creamy ube ice cream. It’s the sweet ending you deserve.
At FOB , it’s not just about the eats- it’s also about the good vibes and friendly service.

As many have already said, it's the type of place to order lots of things on the menu and share/explore as much as you can; did not find a dud among the ten or so things our group of seven ordered. Prompt service, and terrific back patio when warmer weather returns. Easily recommended, and I plan on another visit. We arrived via ride-share, so didn't have to deal with any parking challenges.

Filipinos are known for their excellent hospitality and here FOB in Brooklyn, you can experience delicious and authentic Filipino cuisine in a homey setting. Doors open up to an exposed brick wall with mirrors to the left and tropical tree wallpaper on the right. Our attentive, helpful, and friendly server Doruk served us tonight while care of 24 other patrons all with a big great smile. We ordered two delicious shakes that are fresh and thirst quenching. You must try their corn bibingka and sisig. Make sure to add an egg for sisig. Their BBQ chicken skewers and stewed beef rib deliciously taste just like home cooking. We finished off the night with a dessert called Halo Halo. Mix it all up then try this amazing flavor that you won’t forget but beware, it is satisfyingly cold!

We had brunch in their lovely back patio. I never had Pilipino food before so my son ordered the Adosilog because he said it was good. This was just ok because in found it too salty for me. However i had a chance to try a shrimp from the Hipsilog and it was very good.
But if you like coconut then I would recommend to order the Macapuno pancakes … heavenly!
Friendly staff too. Definitely a place to visit again when I’m in nyc again.

The food here was amazing, the service was great and friendly. I loved my ube shake, and one of the beef dishes was just so soft. Everything was a hit.

Came here with a group of 10 and ordered 1 of everything. This is one of those restaurants where everything on the menu is actually good. The ube slush was very refreshing! Unfortunately was not able to take a pic of everything ordered.

Overall rating: 4.45
Average rating accurate.
Being half Filipino, I was a bit nervous to try this place. I don’t love fusion which is what I’ve seen when I’m in manhattan. However, this was pretty authentic and the food was pretty good! I’ll share a quick rating of what I ordered & why I’m not at a higher rating.
- Longsilog: Pork Sausage - a good variation of the traditional style. Sausage was more spicy than sweet which was a nice twist.
- bangsilog: Smoked Milkfish - I’ve never had this before so I have nothing to judge it against. But it was dry. It would have been nice if there was a sauce attached
- bbq silog: Chicken - OMG THIS SLAPPED. This was so good, highly, highly recommend. 🤤 I may come back just for this.
- halo halo waffles: this was very good. The waffles were amazing.
In addition the place is BYOB (with no cork fee). I didn’t learn this until the tail end of the meal & wish that was clearer on the website’s menu or in the reviews.
I recommend giving it a try. The staff is very friendly & if I’m in the area, I might try some other items. (Along with bringing a bottle of wine)

Came here with a group of friends and we had a great time. The atmosphere was incredibly cute and we sat outside and it felt magical. The staff are all super nice but not super informative on the menu.
We ordered the food but it took a very long time before it got to us (I think just because we were a larger group) but as soon as the food arrived, it was delicious 😋 I love Filipino food. We also got the shakes and the Une is a must!! So good!
Definitely coming back here again and bringing more of my friends to check this place out.
