Love it. A great vibe and terrific food and drinks. Barcelona in Brooklyn.
Wonderful tapas! Subtle flavors, interesting choices and beautifully presented.
A delicious taste of Barcelona in Williamsburg. The authenticity of Barcelona infused our meal here. We ordered the Chef's Menu and this chef was so generous.
Plate after plate of tapas came pouring forth from the kitchen. Each one so delicious. And by the time I felt like there was too much food then showed up the big pan of paella. Every mouthful, every taste was so good.
The service was friendly and prompt. The dining hall is narrow and very long with an awesome garden in the back. Every seat was taken and with good reason. Very fair price, especially for this virtual trip to Barcelona.
My husband and I went for the Tuesday deal on tapas (unlimited small plates until 9pm from a specific selection), the place was buzzing, absolutely great vibes. The salty peppers were phenomenal, as well as the patata bravas and little anchovy bruschetta. The let down was the paella, way too much squid ink, it was so overpowering that we could barely taste anything else. Plus both the rice and the fish were really overcooked and chewy and overall not that much flavorful. Drinks weren’t good either, too sweet, and not spicy at all (they were supposed to be). The restaurant is cute and cozy and the service nice.
It’s a great place to go to on a Tuesday and the tapas deal is definitely good, but they should really work on their seafood dishes.
This spot is truly exceptional! From the lovely ambiance to the friendly and welcoming staff, every detail was thoughtfully executed. The menu is expertly curated, and each dish is a delightful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my meal and cannot wait to return for another visit.
One of the best brunch places (and deals!) I found in New York. Bottomless mimosas and sangria, a choice of four tapas dishes from a wide selection offered, a choice of two entrees or a paella for the group, and dessert all for $35 a person?! Wonderful service from staff and the back outdoor area was perfect for my group to eat and talk.
Great bar/restaurant.
Went for tapas at the end of their happy hour and I was surprised by the excellent prices.
Foodwise, with my wife we had the cheese platter, charquterie platter, tortilla espanola and the croquetas. The best was the tortilla espanola with the rest being okeyish.
Sangria was good, they also had a great selection of beers (not many draft though) and wines.
Service was very friendly.
Would recommend and will come back.
So glad that I finally visited the place. The experience was great although I can tell they have limited staff. Kinda need to wait a little bit since everyone is busy there, they are kind and welcoming.
The dishes were good, I highly recommend the ✨veal cheeks! It was well done!! Melting in your mouth with creative sauce.
The only dish that I think it could be improved is paella. The seafood was not a lot and the taste can be more layers but not only saltiness.
Still, a great place that worth to go for tapas!
Met up with friends for brunch at El Born and was so impressed with how wonderful the food was and how they handled our large party with ease. The brunch pre fixe was a DEAL! Will definitely be back soon to try more dishes but the squid ink paella was a highlight.
Excellent food (we got the potato, cauliflower, maitake, shrimp, and eggplant dishes) but there were a few things lacking.
First off, it was HOT in there. There were open flame candles on small, high top tables which I thought were adding to the heat and seemed pretty unnecessary and dangerous
The wait staff were insanely nice but very slow and not very attentive. Our food came out (by the runner) VERY quickly but after that, it took a LONG time to get waiters attention for water, dessert, closing out bill, etc. To be fair, the restaurant was 75% packed and there only seemed to be 2-3 waiters.
The shrimp were lacking a bit - the oil was full of garlic and hot Chile but it still had no flavor.
Great drinks (spicy mango mash and ginger mojito)
Overall, very good restaurant and since it came out to $100 pretip for 2 people with dessert and 2 drinks and 5 dishes (after which we were STUFFED) - I think it's a decent deal.
Great cocktails and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating. I didn't have food but would recommend to come on Thursday nights for a 2 for 1 gin and tonic!
Oh boiii.. this place is AWESOME.. came here twice.. and I always look forward to dine here. All their dishes are savory and hits the spot. But my main picks are the octopus, kale salad, shrimp and ox tail.. trust me on this. If you order the same dish as I did. You will go out of your way to write this review. 🔥🔥🔥.
It's always a mix crowd n it's always packed so make sure u have reservation. They also have spacious outdoor dining at the back with heaters but it can get lil chilly regardless. I can't wait to go during summer time n chill at the back. 🙂
As for parking you can always find on the street. Couple of blocks here n there, u will be fine.
