a lovely dinner on a rainy day in BK! the restaurant was decently packed when we got there for an early dinner. the place had a nice ambiance too. we started with a Daily Sour and a glass of red. we got the following to try: -arancini verde: piping hot, crunchy on the outside, and cheesy/melty on the inside. a great start to our meal! -paccheri with squid, chickpeas, and peppers: al dente pasta with squid, chickpeas, and peppers in a slightly tangy sauce. it seemed like an unlikely pairing but everything fits. -chicken diavolo: huuuuuuge half chicken, served with roasted potatoes and broccolini. it was juicy and perfectly seasoned. the chicken is bone-in tho, something worth noting. service was attentive but not intrusive. a pretty solid meal in BK.

So beyond impressed with this place! Got a last minute reservation Saturday night and so glad we did. The arancini, butternut squash, and brown butter beet ravioli were to die for. The roasted chicken was juicy with perfectly crispy skin. Olive oil cake and hazelnut gelato were a perfect way to end the night. Lovely cocktails and an impressive wine list as well. Our server was great and the host was warm and friendly as well. 10/10 would definitely return. What a gem!

We used to love this restaurant and recommended it to friends, but on our last visits, the quality didn't match up with what we were paying for. The pasta didn't felt homemade, which is something other italian restaurants in this price range do. Service was good, but even though we made a reservation, we had to wait for another 15-20 min. Overall, we left disappointed.

Worth the hype. Nothing to complain about at all. Loved my cocktail (Coppa D’oro essentially an olive oil washed martini that made me with all gin martinis were this). Loved all the food. The Fava bean puree was even enjoyed by my 10 month old (can we get some snaps for restaurants with high chairs). The only thing making me upset is that we’ve been living the fort green for 3 years and this was our first visit.

Truly everything was so wonderful. The staff was kind and patiently answered questions we had about the menu while also giving really thoughtful recommendations. Everything was delicious! We couldn't decide on an appetizer and after hearing our discussion they gave us a taster of the one we didn't choose. The daily bitter cocktail was the best cocktail I've had in a while. Can't wait to go back.

LOVE. Couldn’t decide so we did all three of the pastas, and the 3 ppl at the table all found a different favorite. Every pasta dish was amazing and their drinks were interesting + refreshing. I personally didn’t love the tomato-y martini drink but it was still nice to sip. Between food/drinks (1-2 rounds) we spent $100/pp

The food was delicious and fresh. Peas are in season and they used a lot of it, tasted so fresh. My favorite was they whipped ricotta. None of the dishes are over seasons or doused with sauce, so the ingredients really stand out. Only complaint was the place was small and which I don’t mind but sound wise it was really loud with everyone talking around us.

Haven’t been here in years, and not really sure why, this place outstanding. Food was excellent and service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender was exceptional. Started out with the prosciutto and arancini, which were both amazing, then Had the fava and pea pasta spaghetti and the fusilli with meat sauce. The star was the fava and pea spaghetti hands down. It was light and delicious. Only small con, I wish they gave more bread considering get it from their sister bakery. I will be visiting again in the near future.

Roman’s is very cozy. A date here would make a lot of sense. If it’s not a romantic night out it can be a little too dark. The ambient is beautiful though. I loved my drink and definitely would recommend the fava bean puree as an appetizer and the panna cotta as dessert (best panna cotta ever). I would skip the caneloni I ordered.
