This place has now become my go-to spot for dinner and lunch. It’s cozy with amazing service, ambience, and delicious food. I love going there at night when they have the lights set up and the door open. With a little breeze, some of their parpadelle and pork chops....!!! It can make anyone happy. It seems like a hole-in-the-wall, and, selfishly, I kinda want it to be a local secret.... but the place is too good to just be enjoyed for ppl around Clinton Hill.

Everyone knows your name. That's the feeling you get. It's very quaint and cozy. The owner is frequently on hand. Very personable. Now let's talk food. Delicious! Last time I was there I only ordered appetizer, the crab and shrimp fritters. Very tasteful. The sauce or salsa that comes with it had these delicate flavors that accompanied the dish well. My friends ordered the branzino and the couscous. Everyone was thoroughly happy with their food. We look forward to coming again

Really good burgers. I had their beef burger with goat cheese and it was really tasty. The skinny fries were also really good. They have a good selection of drinks (two IPA's I can recommend). The interior is nice with lots of antiques. The staff was attentive and courteous. We came in for a late brunch at 3:30 on a Saturday and the place was empty. With burgers like this there's no reason why it should be.

I love the Hill Cafe! The food is great- good selection and can't beat the mulled wine on a cold day! The decor and ambiance are so warm and inviting. Chef Sammy is the best. My all time favorite restaurant!

The crab and fish frittata is AMAZING with an unexpected consistency that I believe is macaroni!!! The rib eye is delicious if made rare/medium rare depending on the cut. Ask them specifically about seeing pink. The drinks are strong and tasty. The brussel sprouts are delicious in the mixed vegetable medley. The chocolate fondant cake with ice cream is delicious! The fries and green, leafy salad served with the rib eye are phenomenal! The owner, Sammy is pure joy to speak with! He's super sweet. The waitress is also very nice. The bartender has good intentions, but can be rude at times. I think he realized it and tried to make up for it on my 2nd visit. Overall, the food and ambiance are EXCELLENT.

A local cafe in my daughters neighborhood that she comes to for brunch and to chill. So cute and homey, lovely little garden to dine outside great music and the food is phenomenal! I had the salmon Benedict and my daughter and her boyfriend shared the Cobb salad and steak sandwich. Everyone’s food was awesome! If your looking for great ambience and food you will love this spot.

Food was good ambiance was nice just don't like quinoa wife ordered it she didn't like so I ate it because I don't throw away food I paid for. We switched plates though she liked the lobster and rice I bought. I wasnt a fan of it... I'm a fan of textures and that plate almost made me had all over the place. She loved it though
