Suchhhh good sushi, so fresh. Might be my favorite Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn. Also great wine list! I love the interior too and it never seems to be too crowded.

I come here every Tuesday and have tried everything on the menu. This place is terrific. The sushi and sashimi are great, of course, but I prefer the rotating selection of dishes that you can't find at other Japanese restaurants. It's always a delight and an adventure. They also play great music, the interior is gorgeous, and the staff are friendly.

We were a big group who stopped by spontaneously, no res, to celebrate a big day. Nobody quite knew what they wanted. Basically a server’s worst nightmare 😂 and they accommodated us so patiently and thoroughly! I can’t thank them enough for the great service (not to mention the food and drinks were great). We’ll be back! (But we promise to make a reservation next time, haha!)

Food and service were both fantastic. A great vibe. I had Chawanmushi, two rolls (toro and mushroom), and the honey ice cream dessert. I'd never had chawanmushi before and it was delightful. The custard was silky and the red shrimp was so fresh! The mushroom roll could have used a bit more flavor and tasted like cucumber but the toro roll was gorgeously fatty. And dessert was such a fabulous way to end the night. The server answered all of my questions and checked in periodically. Highly recommend!

Think Japanese Fine Dining Tapas. The vibe is gently upbeat, welcoming to intimate dates with easy conversation. The star of my initial visit was the keenly curated selection of small bites. I can say honestly the grilled octopus was the best cooked I have had in NYC, up there with fresh selections off the coast of Cinque Terre, Italy. While not the first option for the budget limited, this restaurant has the kind of atmosphere that Bjork wished her music evoked. One of chill reflection.

Amazing service, menu, food, background music and staff. All the Japanese classics you love but with a very delicate and surprising twist for each courses. The wine list is also really good with affordable price. Already looking forward to come back!

Very good! They have really interesting rolls with delicious vegan options too! I highly recommend the Soboro Cucumber Jalapeño roll. The waitress was so kind and helpful- the menu you have to open on your phone which can be a little frustrating, but worth it for the food!

Indoor dining is open! They also had outdoor dining too. They don’t take reservations but if one person goes, you can have them put your name and number down, and specify if you want indoor or outdoor dining. I went at 8:15pm on a Friday night, put my name down for two, and they called me around 8:35pm. Incredibly impressed by the quality of sushi. Got the green tea, shrimp/veg tempura, and 2 sushi rolls (eel, spicy tuna) - all were top-notch. The eel in the roll was warm, like it was just smoked (or whatever they do to it). Wasabi is the real deal, no fake stuff. Ginger was also very high quality. Staff was super friendly - I think everyone is Japanese so you know it’s not an “Americanized Japanese” sushi spot. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a fabulous experience.
