This is one of my favoriteeee restaurants!!! I have been going to Liman for over 10 years, and have brought most of my friends as well. They have The Best shrimp kebab, and I pretty much order the same dish every time (boring, I know lol). If you are a shrimp lover, I promise you, you will enjoy it. Octopus is pretty delicious as well. Although some people complain about the price, I believe the quality of the food justifies it. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and I always feel welcomed!

This restaurant truly exceeded all expectations and provided a delightful escape to Turkey right in the heart of Brooklyn. The service was exceptional, with a waiter who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. The food was simply divine, with each dish bursting with fresh and authentic flavors that left us wanting more. Even for someone who isn't typically a fan of desserts, the authentic Turkish sweets were impossible to resist. And to top it all off, the stunning view of the bay provided the perfect backdrop for an already perfect dining experience. This restaurant truly offers a little slice of heaven on earth.

We came to celebrate Father’s Day this past June for the first time and the food was delicious! The calamari was great and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly! It was a bit loud and the servers didn’t really swing by the table to assist as much as we’d hoped but overall the experience was good!

A Turkish delight…nefis! We came here to celebrate a very special 27th birthday and we were not dissappointed! Highly recommend the zucchini pancakes and branzino. We had a beautiful branzino that was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The options were authentic and perfectly executed. GORGEOUS seaside views while eating amazing seafood. The pumpkin dessert was a dream…try it with tahini and you will feel like you were transported to Bodrum. Whats not to love?

Liman's got great seafood – that’s the headline. Had a bit of a mishap with an octopus salad once, but they sorted it out with a freebie after we talked it over. The place on Emmons was a winner, sitting right by the water added something special to the meals. Haven't seen how the new spot stacks up yet, but the rooftop is promising, having seen it back when it was Teraze. The indoor vibe's got potential too, similar to Sky Wise's cool atmosphere. Hoping to see Liman's team bring their A-game to this new location. Just a heads up, the service could use a boost – the staff comes off a little aloof sometimes. Pro tip? Stick to the seafood and the carbs. The fish dishes never disappoint, and their bread, potato, and kunefe are solid picks. Skip the meat – it's just not their strong suit.

Really great atmosphere relaxing, I was taking there for my birthday. Best choice, great good, we had shrimp kabob, mix grill consist of two lamb Chops, two meatballs and chicken kabob with rice. I had the lamb kabob with rice. The mixed salad superb. An assortment of deserts. It was quite busy, lots of family gatherings. The service really great.

This place was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. Service was very attentive. Food and drinks were very good. It's right by the water so it's a great place to dine outdoors when the weather cooperates. We will return here to dine again.

Good food but insanely overpriced. $60 for fish, $35 for 5 medium sized kebabs, $40 for calamari and they charge us service tax like they aren’t even paying their employees minimum wage in one of the most expensive cities on Earth. $70 for service tax. A meal for 6 ran us down $480. The experience was okay and it was our fault that we ordered. The food was great and the service was good for the family overall but it’s expensive as hell. Expect to pay at least $70 per person for a full meal to stuff you up compared to $20-40 for other restaurants. Won’t dine here again though. $4 for a small coke too. Damn. Kebab was yummy though (picture). Also I could taste some salt crystals in the kebab but that does not bother me too much. Just a little bit more sodium for the meal.

Awesome place. The portions are big. Place actually has enough personnel to be ready to help you right away, not in 5 or 10 minutes and the waiters a nice too. Fried calamari are great, like them more than at Randazzos. Shepherd salad is very good, but that's not the reason you go to Liman of course. Desert is somewhat questionable, I think it's better if they just showed nice pictures, rather than bringing a tray with squashed samples, but it is what it is. Kunefe was tasty.

Made a reservation and suggest one is made in advance as the place was almost full. This is a very nice restaurant for romantic, casual or business dinner. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and friendly service. We had sea food and fish, both were wonderfully prepared and served. Portions size was generous and evrything was delicious. Its not cheap but provides very decent value for money.
