If you love lox ... You will really lol this place. Small seating area. We were 4 and stopped in while picking up son.
We sat at the two tall bar tables by the window front. We had a great time. Peter, the owner is really nice. Take-out mostly. Different kinds of
Lox , so many amazing sandwich combos that I suggest checking out the menu online before going.
I just had the pastrami salmon with horseradish sauce sandwich and it was fantastic. This shop is truly neighborhood gem, so glad we have a place like this nearby.
Great bagel place in Brooklyn! They have a full deli. There are many bagel options with various cream cheese options. They are also a selection of chips, pickles, jams, sweets and more to shop from. The staff is friendly. Will definitely be returning!
Bagel here is so fresh! One of the best in Brooklyn. I also got the halva from here and it’s fantastic. Coffee is also good. I visited when its raining so only one table provided to eat inside.
Best lox bagels in nyc. Fancy Pants and Peter Shelsky's were both amazing. Service is smooth and friendly.
I ordered two bagels with salmon from there. Food was super good and the service was really pleasant. I was with my dog and i was looking for my food on the pick up tray. An employee saw me looking and asked for my name. I didn't have to go inside (I couldn't bring my dog in) and he brought the food out to me. That was super nice of them and as always the food was bomb. They have the best bagels and the salmon is always top notch. Plus I love pickled tomatoes.
Great quality food, but $12 for dark rye bread is too much (the bread was amazing). You can find red caviar, smoked sturgeon, liver pate, tofu cream cheese and other delicacies here on top of usually expected bagels and cured salmon.
The shopping system is confusing, you have to take a ticket for some reason.
Wow, the pastrami sandwich not cheap but was so delicious and worth every dime. It was as juicy as it was a bbq briskets.
Their salmon lox/ smoked salmon looked very good as well. Hope to fry that next time!
Lox bagel was delicious - bagel was perfectly toasted, good balance of cream cheese. The latkes were good size but pretty greasy and soggy.
Best bagel in New York, hands down.
As a southern guy who works in Brooklyn throughout the year, fish for breakfast was not something I thought I'd be into. The 'Member of the Tribe' bagel was absolutely delicious. And even though I'm from the south, I do not care for sweet tea. The Subtle Tea they sold there was perfect.
Don't sleep on Shelky's 🥯🐟 The best of Brooklyn and top 5 in NYC.
