I've been here a few times with family, and everyone loves the experience. The food is great, the staff is always nice and from time to time you can listen to live music while you eat. If you're not feeling like having a sit down dinner there's also a big bar that'll make anything you want.

Food: # visit 1 Steak was a little underdone - not what we requested - and the shrimp had an excessive aroma of the ocean. The shrimp scampi was textbook quality and, thankfully, exceedingly fresh. The tiramisu - my shibboleth for every Italian restaurant I visit - was pretty forgettable. The surprise was our final act of the night - a delicious hot toddy spiked with just a touch of Bailey’s. # visit 2 Fish and chips were surprisingly outstanding; the sole was fresh, breaded, and fried perfectly; the accompaniments (tartar sauce, salad, etc.) struck just the right note. We will come for the live music next time! Atmosphere: Stately and old fashioned. Roomy enough for people-watching but with ample nooks and crannies for privacy. Service: Always prompt, and waiters do not linger unnecessarily.

I went to this restaurant to try their restaurant week menu. In my opinion the 4-course lunch for $30 was a good deal. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. All the dishes that I have tried were quite tasty with the exception of pork chops. The pork chops were overcooked and so dry that it was quite difficult to cut them with the knife; however, the side of mashed potatoes was very good. Overall, this was a good lunch experience and I can recommend this place, but definitely skip the pork chops and order something else.
