This is an excellent pastry shop in Park Slope. I love the assorted minis and they are perfect for parties, events, or if you don't want an entire pastry to feel good about yourself for exhibiting self control. Another big reason to rave about this place is the customer service. I placed an order and paid for it but had a cancellation on a private airplane leaving the following day. Tristan, the manager could not have been kinder, and treated me like a human and appreciated customer. He allowed me to cancel the order with his support (although I had the decline the charge with my credit card and he said he would support it if it were being disputed. He offered several options to help as well. I sincerely appreciate this high level of customer support and I will hell or high water make sure I am as loyal to this shop! Well done, Tristan at 9th Street location! You have 1 loyal customer here!

Nestled amidst the vibrant and trendy Brooklyn enclave of Park Slope, with its chic boutiques and eclectic eateries, "Colson Patisserie" stands out as a beacon of authentic French-Belgian charm. As the leaves take on a golden hue in the fall, families and aficionados alike are drawn to this quaint bakery, reminiscent of the enchanting Parisian patisseries of yesteryears. The neighborhood itself is a delightful blend of contemporary flair and timeless elegance, making it a perfect backdrop amoungs the brownstone homes for this gem of a bakery. As you stroll down the avenue, the allure of "Colson Patisserie" is undeniable. The thought and passion poured into this establishment are evident in every detail, from its inviting ambiance to the meticulously crafted pastries. During my recent visit, I was transported to the romantic boulevards of 1980s Paris. The pastries, a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, were the perfect addition to our cherished Saturday brunch ritual. The service was impeccable, making the experience all the more memorable. In conclusion, if you're in Park Slope and yearn for a slice of authentic French-Belgian delight, "Colson Patisserie" is a must-visit. Whether you're indulging in a leisurely tea-time or grabbing a quick coffee, this bakery promises a touch of Paris in the heart of Brooklyn. Bon appétit! 🥐🍂🗼

🎵 I drove all night 🎵 ( thank you, Celine Dion) from Iowa to visit my kiddo in the hospital. Their only request was an iced coffee, so I chose this place after searching for savory pastries (for myself 😉). Two kind humans were working. Their selection was beautiful. I bought an assortment, and they made my kiddos coffee without ice, so I could add some later ( I chugged my delicious iced coffee stat #neededit). They directed me to where I could find better toothpaste for them (hospital toothpaste out the window). They even gave me a token for a free drink for my kiddo when they got out of the hospital, as they live in the area. Big big props from this Midwestern girl! Thank you.

They have very high standards for their baking, along with a very tolerant position regarding the varied customers. How so? Last winter they advertised a specialty French Christmas cake, and a Sephardic Jewish Hanukkah specialty (don't call sufganayot a Jelly Doughnut!) ON THE SAME SIGN.

Such a wide selection of pastries! The cream filled pastry, no idea what it’s called (oops!) was great. The croissants and other treats all tasted fresh and there was no end to options. Coffee was good and they were pretty quick. Still observing proper COVID guidelines and most of the patrons mask up as well from what I saw.

Easily one of the most popular bakeries in Park Slope, and well known in Brooklyn. Makes a fine and strong chai latte, offers many fresh cookies and pastries, and has some yummy breads to grab to go. The kid was always a fan of the bear cookie. Sweet spot.

Spiffy interior. Delicious coffee drinks with plant based milks. All of their muffins are vegan: Strawberry Ginger, Morning Glory, Blueberry. Yay! No other vegan options, alas. At least they have one option and almond milk!

Everything here looked so tasty! Ordered a bacon and egg sandwich and apple cheddar scone, both of which were delicious. I especially liked the texture of the scone 😋 the service was super friendly, even with a very long line. Can’t wait to try more here!
