Pretty great night celebrating my girl. I had the jerk salmon and I won’t say I’ll try it again , but my friends jerk chicken and snapper fish with the cilantro sauce thing was sooo good . The coconut rice was good too and the plantains were so great . The drinks are strongggg! Not bad at all as an overall experience.

The service 10/10! Richard our server was A-class his offering of sauces to try before placing our order gave me total confidence in my choice trying a new cuisine isn’t always the easiest. Richard went above and beyond to make sure I was not only happy but comfortable during my time in the restaurant. Marlon runs a lovely establishment with vibes, lovely staff and prompt friendly service. There was another server who brought our drinks whose name I didn’t get but he was just as friendly and helpful with a positive attitude. I had the jambalisi shrimp & coconut rice and rum punch. My cousin wasn’t too impressed with the wings but we did eat them all 🤭

I visited Sugarcane with two of my girlfriends last night. It was recommended to us and we saw exactly why! Every member of the staff we interacted with was welcoming and pleasant! The vibe and music was great! The food was amazing! I had the sugarcane shrimp. My friends had wings and a rice bowl with curry vegetables. We all enjoyed what we had and knew we’d be back. I will be bringing more of my friends here for sure!

Yoo, I kid you not this place did not disappoint at all !! Everything that was ordered was so delicious. We ordered the oxtail with two sides, the red snapper Trinidadian style and shrimp.. everything had its own taste and was amazing 💯💯 those oxtails were so juicy and succulent I was full but kept eating because it kept calling me 🤣🤣 I forgot what drinks we ordered but they were good as well. Will definitely be back to try more 🙌🏾 Also shout out to the waiter I didn't get his name but he was so attentive and very nice 💯💯

Sugarcane was a vibe! Great music, delicious food and drinks. Our waiter Jodie was attentive, professional and helpful in recommending dishes for my daughter and I. It was our first time visiting the restaurant but definitely won't be our last. It's well worth the trip from the Bronx. Thanks Jodie for your service! See yall soon.

Food was really good! And the proportions are so big. I had the Caribbean pasta with oxtail and it was soo much! I can definitely have 4 meals with this one order. Seasoned well and the oxtail was amazing. My friends got oxtail with sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes and the Jamalasi Surf and Turf with sides mashed potatoes and Mango Cold Slaw. Both of them really enjoyed their food. The mango cold slaw was nice and fresh. We also had their jerk wings and they were great as well. We really enjoyed the food and the staff was nice. Cree (hopefully that's the correct spelling) was our waiter and he was cool!
