Llama Inn was such an amazing experience! The food was prepared for us right at the chefs counter and all the chefs were very talented and meticulous. The food was fresh and plated beautifully. Definitely expensive for the portions but the ceviche is worth it by far. The long beans dish was absolutely amazing and the flavor was beyond creative, nothing like I have ever tasted before.

It is one of the best places to eat and to enjoy a dinner date. Great Peruvian food with great taste. The entire staff are great people. The best seat is next to the 👨‍🍳 table. You will enjoy the atmosphere, and 👨‍🍳 is very cool down to 🌎

1st time trying Peruvian food and it was a stellar dining experience. Everything from the decor, dining utensils, food, and atmosphere inside. A high-end eating establishment that’s worth the price of enjoyment. I really enjoyed the food .. so much detail in the taste and the manner in which the food was prepared. It was fresh, hot, flavorful, unique, and DELICIOUS! “BiG” compliments to their Chefs🫡

Incredible on all fronts. The food was amazing, we got the beef heart and skate wing skewers (mmmm!), the crispy squid ceviche, and the lomo saltado (TOO GOOD!). The cocktails were very good as was the ambience and service. Great spot for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or have a delicious meal with unique flavors.

Llama Inn in Brooklyn was a logical choice for us after enjoying Llama San in Manhattan. Opting for bar seating, the lively atmosphere set the stage for our meal. We started with perfectly prepared beef heart and octopus starters, exhibiting a delightful fusion of flavors. The tuna ceviche offered a unique twist in its preparation, though I have a preference for a finer chop. The Japanese eggplant presented an intriguing interplay of sweet and sour flavors. However, the standout was the porgy patarashca, served alongside Japanese rice, beans, charred cauliflower, and pickled onions. The coconut sauce was a revelation, and each element on the plate combined harmoniously. Our meal at Llama Inn left us both satisfied and thoroughly impressed, concluding a memorable culinary experience.

Peruvian food is considered as one of the best food on the globe and Llama Inn, Brooklyn, NYC is an excellent proof for that theory. Fairly priced except for wine. Very tasty pisco sour leveled that out.

On a random side street in Brooklyn, adjacent to a small hotel and a freeway overpass, is an unlikely location to find such a wonderful gem, but Llama Inn is truly a Peruvian oasis in the city. I went for Saturday brunch with some friends and was absolutely astonished to find plenty of street parking right in front of the restaurant! Walking in, you’re immediately greeted by art with bright, vibrant colors against a cheery white background and tables surrounding a chic central bar. Once upstairs, it’s like you’ve left Brooklyn. The rooftop is stunningly gorgeous, with tropical vibes, comfy seating and some areas with more overhead coverage for those not wishing to experience the full brunt of the sun. It’s a real moment. Unfortunately for my party, although I did have rooftop reservations, the only table available was fully exposed to the sun on a nearly 90 degree Fahrenheit day, so we sashayed our sundresses back inside before imminent make-up melt down could occur. I started with a Llama Del Rey, a refreshing pisco and red wine based sparkling drink that was reminiscent of red sangria. Most of the cocktails had cute, cheeky names which added to the festive brunch feeling. We ordered chips and dip for the table which were quite good. The chips tasted fresh. The winning appetizer however, was the ceviche with calamari, lime, red onion and cilantro. It was zesty and flavorful. For a main I had a generous sized breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, brioche toast, blood sausage and pork shoulder tamal. I hurt myself trying to eat it all because it was soooooo good. I mean I had to do some major dress adjustments to account for my distended abdomen afterwards, but it was worth it! Biting through the firm texture of the blood sausage casing created a great juxtaposition with the soft, friable, savory filling. The pork shoulder in the tamale was tender, succulent and bold in flavor. I can’t recall the last time, if ever, I had better pork. One of my friends had the fried rice omlette which was also delicious. For desert, I loved the elevated take on flan with crushed macadamia nuts and crème de mint topping. The sorbet with frozen grapes beautifully assembled on top was another fantastic choice on a warm summer day. Everyone from the host to the servers was extremely personable and helpful. The restaurant was also playing a mix of Beyoncé and Aaliyah that morning, so my friends and I had a blast. If you’re looking for a place with fun atmosphere and delicious food, check out this spot.

This place has been on my list for a while and have to say it was a home run in most respects. The food is elevated Peruvian. No basic ceviches here. I had a cherrystone clam ceviche and fried calamari one and both were amazing in terms of flavors and textures. My main of a crispy steelhead trout was also exquisite. The service was lovely and I do love places like this that have chef’s counters that provide ringside seats to watch all the action. Portion sizes aren’t large though and with their high prices, the value proposition feels slightly off. I may come back but not nearly as often were the prices or portion sizes slightly more reasonable.

Delicious food — I especially enjoyed the trout and Lima bean soup. Everything was delicious. They were helpful in accommodating my partner’s shellfish allergy. Vibe is green and lovely. We sat outside on the rooftop, although it was a hot night. The cocktails look good too! Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

YUMMY! Llama Inn described in one word. Everything we tasted was a new experience for our tastebuds. Interesting flavors all mixed together to create a great meal. I will say that the portions are pretty small, leading you to cherish every bite. Desert was unique and mighty delicious definitely recommend the lemon pepper cake. Service was great, waiter was there to explain all parts of the menu and answer any questions we had. Bathrooms were also nice and clean. Very Nice atmosphere. It looked like most of the people there were couples on dates.
