Starbucks

This is "my" Starbucks as it's the one I go to nearly daily. I've been going here as long as it has been here, and I've seen the staff and management turn over, but through it all, there's a certain culture. Starbucks culture, for sure. But it goes beyond that. The people here are super friendly and efficient and work as a team. This is a little thing, but I think it's indicative of what you can expect here -- they stack and align the sugar packets!

My experience here was above and beyond thanks to the barista! I had to rush and make the bus; I let her know that right when I got to the counter. Immediately, she jumped into action making sure that we could make my two desires happen: to get a hot cup of coffee and to be on time. Among that rush, she helped me out with the mess of things I was carrying and gave me a Starbucks bag. Her actions and demeanor made my typically mundane Starbucks experience a memorable and appreciated memory! Thank you. This was around 6 pm on Monday, February 5th.

Very pleasant, above-average representative of the ubiquitous Starbucks chain. No reason to get into the menu; all of you know what you're here for and why. Service here has always been very friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating, including outdoors in the right month; have never had a problem getting a chair here. Have rarely, if ever, seen long lines here, and the baristas hustle anyway. Lots of parking, too.

I could really tell the difference between the newer employees versus not. Unfortunately when I ordered, I was stuck with a new employee. I emphasized I wanted light ice 4 times. Typically if this was a drive thru place I would not mind as much because I would understand the rush and more opportunity for confusion, although because I ordered and received in store I am a bit more upset. I left to quick to really assess my drink, and did not have time to come back immediately for them to make a new drink. My word to customers is to EXTRA EXTRA emphasize you want light ice, and hope you do not get stuck with a new employee
