The food was absolutely delicious! Heavy portions for a great price. I loved how they were blasting r&b music. Service could improve as there was a long wait to be served while there were plenty of staff behind the counter. Perhaps having a system in place would help keep customers moving quickly. Overall I loved the food! 10/10

First time visiting,!recommended by TikTok, not from NY so this was a great surprise. Food was great! Fry chicken with the rice and peas and goat gravy SLAPS. Mad I couldn't try that chilly chicken though that sweet smell was smacking me in the face. Sweet chilli chicken Only comes in medium or large and I don't like buying big size platters when trying a new restaurant

I ate here a couple time, the food was always good they also had a wide variety of food that’s big plus… im talking about food that JA restaurants wouldn’t normally sell. The best cornmeal porridge I’ve had in a LONG time I bought some for my coworker and he loved it, I’m taking that 30 mins drive before work go get some more in the morning. I gave it a 4 star because it’s a bit pricey, but food is definitely a 10/10.

Asked a friend for the best Jamaican food in the Bronx I was told Gold Star. Im glad I tried gold star . ..good service, fair prices, located right at a subway station so I hopped off the subway the restaurant is right at the Se entrance/exit of 219ST station...most of all was the taste was absolutely delicious....10/10 experience for me.

OMG!!! Where to begin???? I honestly don't know where to begin. From the point of entering the restaurant and speaking with each and everyone, the service was beyond exceptional. Dawn our server and cashier, girl big up uself!! To all the chefs and other staff, tombs up. Now the fooooood!!!! My family had a hard time chosing simply because everything, and I do mean everything was delicious. Well seasoned and prepared. I will never forget this taste for sure. Thank you all for the warm ambiance, service and tasty dishes. My prayer is that God continue to bless your business as you continue to serve.
