Taco John's

Some of the people that work there are incompetent. Very small dining area due to its connected to a gas station. Food is usually done right, if not they give a card for a free sandwich or meal. Do it right the first time and you wouldn't have to give away free meals. They're in need of better management.

Food was ok, but had to wait for almost 30 minutes or more for it to come out. The biggest issues that were there was probably with the employees and the cleanliness of the place. The employees were fighting in front of where you ordered, they were on their phones, and didn't even get our order right. The cleanliness of the place was horrible and overall filthy. We could only find one semi-clean table, the others had some food, trash, etc. Also, there were 10+ flies flying around, not only touching people and tables, but also the food that was either being made or already prepared. Really disappointed, especially since it was my first time eating at a Taco Johns.

The employees were friendly but were lacking professionalism. Two of them had their hats on backwards and one of them,whom I am assuming was running the shift, had earphones in one ear. Another one had a toothpick hanging out of their mouth. You could here the music coming from the kitchen and no one was doing anything work related. The food itself was lukewarm but on the brightside everything was clean.

Facts: (4/25/2018) Ordered 10 tacos for $10, Took 30 minutes to get my order to go. There was only 2 people working (1 female 1 male), manager wasn't on sight. Female was working front, drive thru & helping the male cook too. The 2 employees are over worked & under paid. After talking to the manager (Roland) that night & owner, (Mr. Trotter) the next morning the employees got a raise. How much, I don't know but I don't think it's enough for their hard work. When talking to the manager he gave me excuse after excuse, trying manipulate my complaint. The owner was more understanding of my complaint about the 2 employees, that was there, being over worked & under paid. They are looking for help, but I clearly understand why no one is applying. With the way the manager not step in & leaving them short handed, I can understand why.

Wow could the employees be any slower or less friendly. No sense of urgency or personality. I'm fairly certain if I had a dead turtle it would move faster. I have attempted this place twice on my travels through NE because I like taco Johns normally but the owners should seriously considering firing ALL their employees or at least the "managers".

Just for once I would like to get what I asked for today I was there and I asked for a chicken quesadilla taco combo which includes 2 not 1 Quesadilla tacos Oles and a drink I only got charged and revived one no oles no drink if I just wanted the one I would have asked for just the one i am tired of getting burned by this place and wish it would just get shut down already
