Okay I was pretty skeptical at first. We ordered three pepperoni slices, one pepperoni Sicilian and a plain Sicilian and it came out to $27 and I was not happy with the price. However the pizza was pretty damn good so I changed my mind and decided it's worth it! Also I didn't have any issues with customer service as other reviewers noted, they seemed pretty friendly to me!
I grew up in Brooklyn but live in Binghamton now. I've been looking for a good Sicilian slice for years. I haven't had one in a while so my memory might be off, but in my opinion this is legit and it hit the spot!!! Also the slices were HUGE. The picture is of the pepperoni Sicilian and even that was quite big but the cheese Sicilian was even bigger... It didn't look that big through the glass so just keep that in mind! They're gigantic!!!
Also I liked that the pepperoni sicilian wasn't just a cheese slice with some pepperoni on top. Even the bites without pepperoni had some good pepperoni flavor. The cheese slice was really good too though. I tried a bite of the triangle slices and it was also delicious. Super-thin crust for triangles, super puffy for squares!!! As they should be!! If I didn't live 2.5 hours away I would definitely come back all the time.
This was my first experience with Joe’s and it was an amazing one! The pizza was some of the best I’ve had and the amount of options blew me away! Would love to see the names posted with the pizzas but it wasn’t too hard to tell what I would enjoy. I got to take advantage of the buy-one/get-one option between 3-5pm and the pricing was unbeatable. Will visit again!
Mo was my server and she was very nice and friendly. She treated me and my family with love and respect. I will definitely be back. And totally recommend this place.
The pizza is okay and there are many choices of slices but the prices are insane! Isn't it that way everywhere, but probably more in Brighton!
Must go between 3pm-5pm for 2 slices for $6.00 versus $6.00 a slice.
Never ordered a whole pie so I can't speak to that.
Staff is fine, they're just selling pizza.
Atmosphere is busy, that speaks to their food.
Overall, not bad.
Undoubtedly the best pizza in the Rochester area. The toppings, sauce and entire pizza is incredibly flavorful with fresh ingredients that really come through in each bite. You can customize easily. Their crust is just the right about of chewy/crunchy and doesn’t taste cardboard unlike so many other high-end pizza places around here. To those complaining that “they could go to X national pizza chain for cheaper,” are you insane? Yes, Joe’s is more expensive, but they essentially serve gourmet pizza compared to the mass produced tasteless crust+cheese you’re talking about buying for 12.99 at that chain place. In my opinion, paying a little more for a high-quality pie is preferable to ever eating the usual garbage that passes for pizza in most of Rochester. Heroes are excellent with great flavor profiles as well. Our favorite is the meatball! Same goes for the garlic knots which are perfectly buttery, soft, and delicious.
This location is a lot better that the Henrietta location where one employee in particular is a little rude and one time passive-aggressively put us on hold and clearly hung up on us repeatedly, rather than just telling us we couldn’t place an order an hour before closing time because they were too busy. I’ve yet to run into an issue like that at the Brighton location.
Always amazing pizza! The staff is friendly and there is always something new to try (but I stick to the buffalo chicken because it’s too good to pass up). Favorites include buffalo chicken (duh), stuffed pizza (it’s like 3 slices in 1), and the veggie. The crust is so thin and crispy, but never burnt!
I love this pizza for the most part and eat it almost weekly. Some of the employees can have an attitude problem. And the slices are sometimes dry from sitting out too long. But other than that I enjoy it most of the time
One of the best pizzas ever. The crust is well done and they offer a variety of toppings too. They add the perfect amount of cheese and are open to customizations.
Ngl it's pretty expensive pizzeria, but the pizza is definitely worth it. If you got some extra mullah lying around go ahead and try this place and judge for yourself.
Good NYC pizza is hard to come by the further west you get in NY. It seems like the pizza gets thicker the more to travel away from the big apple. Joe’s Brooklyn is one of the few pizza shops left you can go to in our area and have that nostalgic slice similar to the one you had in the big city. They have real brick ovens that leave that familiar char on the crust. I had to stop myself after three slices…I’m sure I could’ve had more! If you are in the mood for an old fashioned NYC slice head over to Joe’s. Best way to do it is to walk in and get a slice, it’s supposed to be a NYC pizza place cut them some slack, or forget about it!
