Went for lunch with another couple. One was gluten free. Good menu, but not too big. Waited on a line to order. Took a bit, but it was prime lunch time. The girls who took our order and served us were great. Food came out fresh and hot. Also had soup.
Stopped here for lunch while out walking and doing some sidewalk shopping. First time here (as I'm not from here) and Claire was very warm and welcoming and took out orders promptly. I ordered the cheesy potato soup and got two pieces of bread on the side. Both very delicious! I dipped my bread in the soup, too. It was good like that as well; like you're eating grilled cheese, but different. I recommend coming here if you're out and about. :)
I went during peak lunch hour which was busy. I ordered my Apple bacon chicken sandwich which was decent but missing some sauce or mayo. I also had a good cranberry apple pie which they warmed up and topped it with whip and was yummy.
Very good but not great. Long wait for an above average deli.
Ate here on a Wednesday for lunch. Brought our dog and we were able to grab one of the two high top metal tables in front of the deli.
The grilled cheese and bean/corn soup special were good. Lacking notable flavors or taste. They provide a bag of Frito Lay chips with each order. My wife had the veggie burger. Again, above average. Register staff was helpful and pleasant.
I had the gingered chicken sandwich. It was really good. I was expecting a regular sized sandwich on sandwich bread, but they serve as a sub. Next time, I'll order half a sandwich. It got really busy after we ordered. The place was packed when we left about 55 minutes later. We were there about 11:45 am on a Thursday. It seemed to be a popular place with the locals, too.
I had a hard day at work and my husband just had major dental work, so we went down to Mayberry’s for some comfort food. It did not disappoint! He had pot pie and I had meatloaf, both of which were just like my Mom would have made if she could have actually cooked and had a professional kitchen. This is no fine dining establishment - you order at the counter and bus your own table (and eat with plastic cutlery which even Mom would have objected to,) but the food is good, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable as a result. For tonight, Mayberry’s filled the bill.
My friend and I enjoyed catching up over delicious chef salads. The ingredients were fresh and the ham and turkey were like leftovers you would use at home - they weren't just chopped deli meat. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
First time visit on vacation from out of state. From the moment you enter and are greeted by the Order Taker at the Register, who had a lovely smile and such a warm welcome, you just knew the food was going to be outstanding!! My husband had the meatloaf sandwich and I had the country chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup. One word for it all...AWESOME. The cute atmosphere with the warm personality of all of the employees and the food...Mayberry's is the WHOLE package. Thank you!!!
Sometimes food is so good that after I’m done eating I don’t remember chewing my food because I shoveled into my mouth so quickly. That was my experience at Mayberrys. Delicious food you’d make for yourself. Tomato basil soup and 10 layer salad. Can’t go wrong.
Oh my God, why did I wait so long to eat here?! This place is phenomenal! My friend had the meatloaf grinder, my husband had the ginger pork, and I had the BBQ beef grilled cheese. We shared bites, and they were all absolutely delicious! The meatloaf grinder was even better the next day!
The staff was super friendly, and the decor was nice. They definitely know what they're doing. 🥰
