This place is the best yet! Every time I bring someone in becomes their favorite too! The K Roll is to die for!!! And if your really hungry the Love Boat is amazing! It gives you a little bit of everything. If you wanna try sake, definitely try the peach one! So delicious! All in all it’s a place you don’t wanna pass up!

My roommate and I come here almost every Monday. We love the staff and the sushi is phenomenal. We highly recommend the K roll. This will forever be our favorite sushi place in Bradenton/ Sarasota area :)

We arrived at the restaurant on a cool evening, craving something hot like soup or a hearty dinner. The place smelled delicious with spices, and it had a cozy terrace vibe. It seemed like a family business, and a young lady greeted us at the entrance. After perusing the menu, we were thrilled by its diversity. When the dishes arrived, it started with a variety of appetizers, including kimchi with cabbage, radishes, and pineapples. Alongside the Kim Chi soup, they offered tempura vegetables in a beautiful plate: onions, a piece of squid, sweet potato, and zucchini. My husband chose the "Jampong" soup. Imagine our surprise when we found in the seafood "Jampong" soup: 4 small shrimp, 3 modest mussels, and a few pieces of tough squid (definitely not tentacles, as the squid had an uneven shape). The service was attentive and friendly, but there's room for improvement in the taste and composition of the dishes, guys.

We always come here for sushi and maybe some appetizers. The food is always delicious. They can get pretty busy sometimes, especially around dinner time, so there's a possibility you might have to wait. The service was just okay, but I don't blame the server, it was very busy at the time. It's a good environment to bring family, or they have a bar you can sit at if you're by yourself. If you like sushi, this place is definitely high up on the list for the area.

This has been a years-long favorite of mine. I’m happy for them in their new place, but if I’m honest, I miss the original location. Thankfully, the move hasn’t changed the quality of food or service! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like, but my all-time favorite is the Buccaneer Roll!! Absolute heaven on a plate in my opinion - and to everyone with whom I’ve shared it. This time, instead of the calamari - which comes in a ‘stick’ form instead of rings, and is so good - we tried a roll pictured on the ‘new’ menu (only in form.). Sadly can’t recall the name but it had a little kick and a pile of shredded crab on top. Lovely presentation. But oh that Buccaneer Roll!!! MmmmMmmm!!

NOTE: They're MOVING on April 22, 2023. Sushi is fresh, and Nigiri (pieces of fish on top of rice) have large portions of fish on top of rice. Was a little disappointed to see that ONLY the Spider Roll uses REAL crab. All other menu items use Krab (today's way of showing that it's imitation, and often doesn't even come close to the real thing. The Spider roll did have real crab, and it's real crab flavor was there, but a little skimpy based on the typical medium/large roll size. I've been to a number of sushi establishments that offer to substitute real crab for an extra couple of dollars per item. I'm removing a star because they don't offer this, and was kind of blindsided by the Krab offering initially.

I went to this place for the first time because I really like Korean food. I ordered soft tofu soup and Korean BBQ pork. The food was okay. The restaurant is pretty plain, not much decoration.

Sam Oh Jung is the go to spot for Korean, Sushi and Asian food. It’s close proximity to IMG academy makes it a local stomping grounds for athletes, coaches, and your favorite area Realtor (me)😊. Behind the cash register you might spy signatures and thank you’s from well known patrons. Food pictured here is the Yakimandu (deep fried pork dumpling) Chicken LoMein and Jim’s Signature roll. All delicious. 😋 With so many choices and the wide variety of options you are sure to find something die the whole family. Authentic food, great service

Delicious food and always served with a smile. Serves sushi and hot meals that I believe at either Korean or Japanese. Will need to come back and try some more dishes because there were so many dishes that i wanted to try. I also tried a bottle of pomegranate alcohol and it was so tasty!! Support a local restaurant!

Been coming here since the late 90s. It's where I first tried sushi, where I first had Korean food. I thank my Japanese-born co-worker from way back when for introducing me to this place every time I come in. The staff has always been very friendly, patient, and accommodating. The place is always clean, organized, easy to navigate - even with a wheelchair. The food is among the best I've had anywhere. Japanese, Korean & Chinese, even some Vietnamese dishes. Yummy in your tummy across the board. My only niggling complaint - if I had to come up with one - is the music. It's quiet enough but Kenny G doing Moon River is what I expect at the dentist or doctor's office, not at a restaurant.
