We chose to come to the Pit Stop due to new management and the fact that it’s so close to home.
We were seated quickly and had no issues with the waitress throughout our dinner. However, it was not overly busy during the duration of our meal.
Steaks were good, I asked for a medium, got a medium rare. The sides were lacking. The baked potato was burnt on the outside but not done on the inside. Corn on the cob seemed old or sitting too long in the butter.
Overall, it was an ok experience. It wasn’t great, it wasn’t horrible.

We have been here before and it was great
This time an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper for the menu, no drink menu, good onion soup but entrees were not so good. Husband had to go get our silverware and napkins. We had to ask for rolls and they were not the normal ones. Cold with cold butter. Understand they are under new management and may try them later. But if it stays like this we will not go back.

The food was not as good as it use to be under previous owner. Alot of the elements that pit stop was known for are now gone, Sizzling steaks, good bread, hot bacon dressing and home made sides. The service was good but the waitress did not know the menu.
The food was overall lacking favor. That was the first time we went out to eat and did not enjoy any of it.
I got the prime rib sandwich and it was good but it was not hot.
The water also tasted good.

The place use to be great for steaks. Went there last night and i was very disappointed. Service was slow, my steak tasted old and had no seasoning, the shrimp tasted old, the side of potatoes and gravy was cold. I had the new york strip that was suppose to be 16oz but looked like a 10oz steak. No sizzling plate, no bread, no water. The best thing was the bottle of beer. What happened to the Pit Stop I use to love. I will never eat there again. Very disappointed. Also the band was so loud I couldn't even talk to my wife at dinner.

Well where do I start?
As of this weekend the owners whole staff walked out on him. What’s that say about the place?
Only thing they had going for them is that great staff and they are all gone now they are
Reopening under a new name but still same owners
That’s not going to cover the problem
Same bad experiences will happen. The guy running it has no idea and serves bad food. I was near a man that got served a bad buffalo burger the whole place smelled and he came out to apologize to him saying he thought it smelled bad but wasn’t sure.
So serve it right? Very bad things and it’s a shame pit stop was a legend at one time until these people got their hands on it. Where are the family friendly staff?
Poor pit stop it was the place to go years ago

Was there Valentines evening. Was seated in the backroom, main room was not really crowded. Another came in right behind us. Placed our drink and food order, 30 minutes later they brought us table 2’s order, which we rejected. They seated table 3 about then. 15 minutes later the waitress said she was waiting for the crabcakes. 20 minutes later they’re brought us table 3’s order, of course we said no thanks. Told the waitress to bring the check for our drinks and appetizer. Would have been a good time to apologize and say no charge. Won’t be back and will definitely share our experience

We've been there 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years or so and each time I'm hoping it's a better experience but it never is. The steak quality I've experienced here is mediocre at best and the cuts have be fatty. So last time I tried a burger and soda - waaaay well done on the burger (asked for medium) and I was given a 12oz can of soda. A second can was another charge. I think I'm done with this place for now.

Visited for the first time last week, and it won't be the last. Food specials were delicious, and I enjoyed having sweet butter and apple butter brought out with the bread; it was a pleasant and delicious surprise! Decent selection of beer on tap and in bottles for a smaller place. I look forward to visiting in the warmer seasons and sitting out on the patio seating.
