Excellent Mexican style food with a really comfortable atmosphere. The staff is fluent in English, very friendly, alert & attentive. The servers arrive at your table promptly, soon taking your order, serving up drinks, salsa & chips. I love the attention to detail with the internal decor; it adds more to the experience. Your food will arrive quickly after placing your order even when they are in a rush. The servers make sure everyone has everything they need. The building is well maintained, kept clean, the floor is kept clean, the restroom is clean there were not any objectional odors noted. When the servers are not helping customers they are wiping down & sanitizing everything, the tables, counters and so forth. The prices are reasonable for this type of dining. If you like Mexican style food and GREAT SERVICE this is a RECOMMENDED place to eat. π
As a solo female diner with a knee brace I was delighted to sit at the bar on a nice, comfy bar stool and enjoy complimentary chips & salsa plus the $1.50 draft special suggested by the lovely barmaid, Mariana. Choosing from the massive menu was no easy task because everything sounded so enticing. Settled on the mushroom quesadilla which was perfectly chargrilled (and SO delicious!) as was the amazing grilled zucchini (side) -- and the yummy a la carte tomatillo sauce is most definitely worth $1.25! El Mazatlan #2 is also most definitely a winner & anyone who says otherwise probably thinks Taco Bell is haute cuisine! π―ππππππ― UPDATE: on a subsequent visit my server, Aida, was equally lovely and the food was equally good! And Maria behind the bar is also terrific! π

Stopped in on my run from Nashville to Detroit after not visiting in 10 years and I barely recognized the place! Amazing improvements and the nicest bathrooms. The food is muy, muy bueno. I had the lunch special #9, a flour tortilla bowl with super moist and tasty chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Beans and rice, chips and salsa were also tasty. Super friendly staff completed the experience. I hope it is not so long before my next visit!! Highest recommendation!

Big Birthday party here Sunday! Everyone was very happy with the food, waiters and accommodations! They truly work hard to provide a wonderful time for all guests. I'm in awe with all the capabilities of the food plating and the perfect taste with everything we ordered. Our group had 24 people, 1 in a wheelchair and 4 children.
My husband and I love this place! We eat here sometimes twice a week and we've never had a bad meal! The wait staff is super friendly and helpful--can't recommend highly enough!!
