My favorite items are the carnitas plate (1/2# carnitas at least, rice, beans, guac, salsa, lettuce, cheese, tortillas), the 12 rolled tacos special, the shredded chicken burrito, the breakfast burrito. Don't sleep on their churros - they're perfect.
You can get better Mexican food here than you can even at local sit-down options. The price ranges $8-15$ per person. This is a busy fast food joint, don't eat inside unless your wanna smell like carne asada for the rest of the day. The sticker machine needs a 23' update.
The guys that work here work a ton, it's the same people every time I go and I visit around the clock. They work hard. They are consistent. The food price is right so I never feel like I can't tip them.
I lived in Tucson,AZ in '98 and '99. One of the things I missed the most about living there was Betos. I happened to be in the Salt Lake City area this weekend when low and behold I'm driving down the road and what do I see but a Betos sign! I was on my way to a luncheon but I immediately stopped. I had to see if it was the same Betos and sure enough it was! It was exactly the same as I remembered it. The best authentic Mexican food I've had!
For a construction worker, sometimes you don't have time to make breakfast, and sometimes you're too drunk to turn on a stove (or to drive for that matter) Beto's has supremely understanding servers, don't let the accent fool you, these guys are pro's. I've ordered food for a crew of 6 here and missed 2 orders, and they already had the food made and ready when I realized my mistake. They know their customers really well. The food is fast, stomach friendly, and hearty. More than I can ask for, for the price. Their shop looks like a pit though, it's in desperate need of a remodel.
This is the best place for fast food mexican food. Honestly, it's better then some high end restaurant who call themselves authentic. This place is authentic. There carne asada plate is awesome! And it's at a very good price! They actually put flavor in their beans and rice! There meat has flavor! This is my go-to place when I feel like wanting some quick food and just want to hanging out and playing games or watching a movie at my house. I'm telling you if you feel like quick mexican food come here!
The BEST breakfast burritos in Utah. The 3 meat fajita (#1 combo) is the BOMB and there's plenty on your plate to save for later. They're numero uno in my book.
Beto's has delicious Mexican food and portions are pretty generous. Generally, my kids would select this place for Mexican food.
Food was delicious and servings were generous! Has delivered and food arrived hot. Churros, carnitas chimichanga and rolled tacos were all very good!

This is one of those places that you should definitely not judge by appearances. Great Price! Open 24 hours! And a big variety of options from breakfast burritos to shrimp cocktails and entrees. Big bang for your buck and one entree can definitely be split giving you an even better value. I recommend trying the chimichangas in chicken or pork. The breakfast burritos are also really good but they are greasy and heavy.. so pace yourself.
If you are familiar with Betos Mexican food they are great.
This Betos is awesome, every time I have been they are fast and the food is fantastic.
