Best family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant in boulder! They have moved locations but are still on the hill! I Love coming to this beautiful new location! Some of the best food in Boulder. They have an extensive menu, and it's made to order. To get the best experience and best quality food, order at the window, pay cash and throw them a dollar and some change. The food comes out screaming hot and it's always great. A great couple runs it and they're always happy to see people in their window. General taos chicken, orange chicken, orange beef are some of my favorites. Hot and sour soup is always good too.

I should read the reviews first before I tried this place. I ordered combo fried rice and Vietnamese egg roll. I picked up my order on time, no waiting. Fried rice like left over, all the meat are dried like left outside for long time. Egg roll burned. Got heartburn after 15 minutes after tried couple spoons of the food. I can tell food isn't fresh and clean. Hope I don't get food poisoning. Not recommend.

Back in 2003 when I was a grad student at CU-Boulder I could get a big lunch there at $3.50. I visited again in 2019 and the price was only raised to $5, still a big box of lunch (vegetables and tofu). All the people who ate with me at Kim's back then have scattered to other places in the world, only Kim's remains in the same old place waiting for us to return and reminisce.

Sesame chicken- Dry old meat coated in a thick gross sauce. Sweet and sour soup came in a thin melted styrofoam. The Hot and spicey beef was again dryer than jerky and inedible. The woman working was rude. This place deserves less than a star and should not exist. Feeding people food like this is deplorable.

LOVE Kim’s! Kim and the other staff are so nice and the food is soooo yummy. I’m a huge fan of the pork fried rice! Egg rolls there are also really good
