You and Mee Noodle House/Tra Ling Oriental Cafe was a great lunch in an interesting location. Anyone that’s needed to get their drivers license in Boulder has come to this odd mall. I started with the wonton in chili oil and had the stew lamb for my main.
One thing about many of the Chinese restaurants in Colorado is they all have very similar menus with very similar flavors. Sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, etc. I like looking for the ones that have different dishes without the perfectly cubed vegetables. You and Mee /Tra Ling was definitely different and amazing. I have to go back to explore their menu.
I love the location off of the hill, so I figured I’d try this location. We got pork bao buns, Vietnamese egg rolls, and a beef udon noodle. Everything is delicious…. Except the udon’s prominent flavor, is black pepper….. which it should not be black pepper forward. There should be a lightly sweet soy sauce base. I’ve never once had an udon noodle I didn’t like. And this was really a disappointment, just with the seasoning. The noodles were still cooked perfectly. It’s a bummer, because that is the main dish I was looking forward to 😔
However, the Vietnamese egg rolls are bomb! And I’ve never gotten pho from this location, but the location on the hill has always served up DELICIOUS pho.
Absolutely delish food! I have ordered from them so many times and it’s just absolutely delicious every time! Delivery is super quick. Drinks, appetizers, and main dishes are just phenomenal! If I could give higher then 5 stars I would.
My friends and I got hot pot for lunar new year here and they gave us a free order of sesame balls! They were very nice and the food was so yummy. Will definitely be returning!
Hidden gem right down the road from us, highly recommend. This is very authentic food that gives you a solid idea of how REAL "chinese food" should taste. I've been to China and You and Mee is the closest I've found in Colorado to what I experienced there.
We went 3 times in about a week lmao, everything was great. My personal favorites so far are their soup dumplings and their sesame balls. Both perfectly proportionate in filling and wrapping/shell. Their Dry pot is also fantastic, and the noodles they use for their ramen are perfect 🤌
Happy to finally have a consistently delicious place nearby 🙌
WOW. THE BEST Chinese food in Boulder. So authentic, so flavorful, so amazing. Better good than I’ve had at fancy restaurants that cost twice as much! What a gem!!!!
Friendly staff, great service, quiet environment, DELICIOUS food. Will be returning again!
Tried their authentic hotpot, and it was mouth-watering. Dry hotpot was scrumptious too; soup dumplings is a great starter. If you're craving for authentic spicy food, this place is worth a try.
