We had dinner there with our friends last Saturday. The restaurant serves European themed, French and Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is à la carte. The portion side is not large but the price is reasonable. The menu is not large and it changes often.
We were there at happy hour which offers reduced prices for house wine choices and some small bites. Grilled squid with chickpeas, potatoes, and salsa verde was delightful but it is a salad, not an entrée. Cavatelli with lamb ragù is also our favorite. We would like to go back there again to sample other items.
Cool little place off Pearl street in Boulder that seems good for small parties.
I came here with my wife and some friends the other day and we had a food time. The snow was coming down and it wasn’t that busy but that just meant we got really attentive service.
All of the dishes we tried were family style but the standout was the lamb ribs.
They have good happy hour drinks too.
One of our favorite places in Boulder with an amazing wine list, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and flavorful, dynamic and creative menu.
Completely underrated in my opinion. This place never disappoints! Delicious eats every time despite limited menu. Wonderful place to meet friends and share plates. Great wine list and creative cocktails. Small and intimate setting. Love the staff, very friendly, helpful and excited. Bonus - small outdoor seating for nice weather!
A great little restaurant with high quality foods, cocktails, and wine. I have been here twice, once a sit down dinner and another time just for drinks and appetizers. Both of those times I had an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and well informed. The owner stopped by to chat at our table. The food was perfectly prepared and exceeded expectations. My one recommendation, save room for dessert!
This place is what's missing in the Boulder restaurant scene. Great food is able to be found at many establishments around town - and don't get me wrong, there are a number of other spots we love (The Kitchen, Arcana, among others), but the overall vibe that PMG puts off - "European cafe crossed with romantic and chic Pearl Street hangout" - is one of a kind and hard to come by. Great atmosphere (charming, rustic, cozy and laid back), well-done cocktails, unique wine list - with many great French and Italian by-the-glass pours, amazing food - fresh, in-house baked bread, the bass/clam stew was heavenly, and the squid with crispy potato and smoky aeoli was perfect... And the service (genuine, down to earth and knowledgeable) makes this place the best overall restaurant experience to date in Boulder. Thanks for an awesome dinner. We'll be back soon!
Wonderful to have this restaurant in Boulder. Wonderful atmosphere and good service. The food is heavenly; you'll clean your plate. I've enjoyed their cocktails, but prefer the delicious wine.
A very mellow atmosphere that you wouldn't expect given the proximity to Pearl street and all its noisy restaurants. Adorable staff. The pasta are delicious, and the dates cake will surprise you! I appreciate the size of the entrees. For once, it's sized to what i could actually eat, like all good restaurants in Europe.
