I am on the patio now- their chocolate croissants are perfect, as are their mochas. I got a lemon poppyseed cupcake for later, hopefully it's just as good.
Best scones I've ever had!
Been here a few times when visiting family.
A very unique place. Dog friendly.
Great little baked things. Some of their items I cannot pronounce.
Look at the picture I’ve attached to this review, how on earth do they do that❓
My partner and I moved to the north end of Boulder about 4 weeks ago and we have been to Spruce several times each week since we arrived. We love it here! The coffee is spot on and the baked goods are delicious. The scones and cheese danishes are to die for!
Really great coffee. I got a latte and banana walnut bread. The latte was perfect. I recommend this place for coffee if you are going to rocky mountain national park.

Spruce Confections is the coffee & pastry stop you'd wish could hop out of whatever Wes Anderson film you observed it in.
It's coffee is dark, aromatic- it tastes like coffee tasted to the child I used to be, fleeing my families room at whatever highway stop motel we'd occupied to - steal- as I thought at the time, coffee from the little lobby pot. Yes- obviously Spruce Confections coffee is a thing of beauty and riches - and yes coffee in the econolodge to the matured senses of an adult would surely not be. But! Spruce Confections is a stop when I need a "spiritual" cup of coffee, a cup of coffee I feel in my heart and tickling at that nostalgia for "coffee". Like Ratatouille to the hardened restaurant critique of Pixar's beautiful depict of France in - this is not a review of Ratatouille, but I do own the Blu Ray ( watch it in French )- I've gone on too long. Spruce Confections is part of why I call Colorado and perhaps the hottest fuel to the fires of my love/hate predicament with Boulder. 10 outta 10 , oh yes. It's good coffee.
P.s. they make croissants
Great coffee, great croissant, the sandwich was cold but it was so good I kept eating it anyway
Was a little disappointed but next time we will go earlier to try to get a better selection. They also accept Trip Tracker bucks from BVSD schools. 👍
This is a coffee shop that is located a walk away from my old house. This is an amazing home baked shop that has a big variety of pastries and sweets, while also having burritos and quiches. This is an amazing place that I suggest you check out. If you go there, the coffee isn't the best so just go to this one to get food and get a steamer. (A steamer is milk that is heated up and there are many flavors you can choose to put in it)
$18 for a Chai, oatmilk latte and a chocolate croissant. My daughter loved the pastry but my espresso had the same bitter taste as Starbucks. It was fast and felt welcoming inside.
