The food was really good. The macaroni could've been better, but other than that I'm glad my first time there was a good experience, and the prices were great for such a great quantity of food.

The barbeque is good but I don't know of anywhere you can get better fried chicken. I especially like it cold the day after.
If you go here, you should know the woman across the counter from you is not some wage worker, she's the owner. If you treat her nice she's sweet as hell and if you don't she doesn't have to put up with your foolishness. Last time we were there she gave us a huge piece of cake free when we said we'd come to town because we had a craving for her chicken.

This is so GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD I am from Florida and I needed some soul food and I found miss jones. I live in Brighton and I drive 45 to 1 hour to her it is worth it. Sad I have to go back to Florida

My GOD! This food was absolutely delicious and Mrs. Jones was SO sweet. I took a 45-minute train ride to get to this place during my visit to Boston, and I didn't regret it one bit! I purchased the rib and chicken combo (with mac n cheese/green beans as sides) and it was finger-licking good! Definitely a good spot for soul food in the Boston area
