Tasty Burger

So basically everything here is delicious.. Went internet searching for good cheap Boston eats and this one came up repeatedly. I'm generally suspicious of fast food burgers because they can go either way but thought I'd give this place a try.. My blue cheese burger and onion rings were wonderful (I'll crave those onion rings for years). Staff were friendly with minimal interaction you have and prices were on par with what is becoming an expensive world. Loved all the sauces at the table 'just in case'.. The only average menu item were the fries. I would happily eat here on my next visit to Boston.

Hadn't been to this particular location but the food was delicious (especially their french fries) and the young lady who took my order was so pleasant. It says the address is 48 Winter PLACE; it's actually 48 Winter STREET. Winter Place runs off Winter St. and is a very narrow alley between two buildings.

Tasty Burger is a must have anytime I'm in Boston. Been to every location. Had a little issue at this location where they never actually told me my food was ready. 40 minutes passed by before I got hangry enough to ask what was up. Fries were stone cold. BUT, when I asked for them to remake the fries, they happily obliged. The patty melt was amazing even though it had been sitting around. Hopefully this issue is just a blip in the otherwise amazing food and service I've had at every Tasty Burger location.

Pretty good fare, especially relatively late at night. In fact, one of very few eateries open for sit-down eating, albeit in a ver-r-ry informal setting. I'm giving one extra star for that! They MIGHT serve alcohol - Having fulfilled my lifetime quota of said substance some 20+ years back I don't pay attention to that so much any more... There IS a bar, though - we sat at it. However, as late as it was there was nobody behind it to serve drinks... Back to the main points. The food is NOT cheap, though - Two of us dropped ~$35+ (can that be right?) - though at least one of us had a shake and fries in addition to the deluxe burger - which was of decent size or better.
