Until last night I had never eaten anything from Zaz. I had been hearing great things about the food but just hadn't tried it. We used the catering for the school dance and it was a huge hit! The chaperones and children alike were raving about the food.
I really enjoyed the whole experience - the staff, chef and catering manager were awesome! I will definitely be returning.
People stop what you're and go to ZAZ! Best food ive eaten in a long time. The chef is great, the staff is great and I was blessed by the service!
The food surpassed my expectations. I opted for the Haitian rice and beans, chili chicken, and plantains—all of which were delightful. The person who took my order over the phone was incredibly courteous. I'm definitely planning to return as a regular customer. The only suggestion I have is to consider opening another branch closer to Boston, as the current location is quite a distance from me. Despite the distance, I believe the occasional drive is justified by the experience. My main hope is that their food maintains its consistent quality and that their customer service remains unwavering. This initial visit left me eager for more, and I'm looking forward to many future visits.
EVERYTHING was delicious!! The hush puppies were definitely our favorite but overall the food was very flavorful and everything had a very nice presentation. The owner is super nice and very professional and Jess was the best host !! If you’re in Boston you have to try zaz if you’re not I promise you it’s worth the trip !!
The food was awesome. We had a jerk chicken wrap, prawn bake pasta, plantains and salmon cakes, which were absolutely delicious. The service was great but we paid for the drinks which we did not give us, hence a star off.
My second time eating here, being here, and everything is still the same - absolutely superb!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone looking for a nice, cozy place to come and have the same great experience with the variety of food, and relaxed atmosphere. Nice cultural music playing throughout the restaurant. Each time I came here I was wanting some grits. The place that I normally go that’s closer to where I’m coming from was already closed.. And it doesn’t even matter anymore because ZAZ doesn’t disappoint! I don’t know what that person who made the comment about their grits was soupy was talking about. It’s still one of the reasons why I came back, the grits. 👍🏽👍🏽for me!
This was my first time at this establishment. I attended a birthday dinner while traveling from CT.
The food was great, the atmosphere was delightful unfortunately the "personal bartender" was not prepared with the typical requests made by the party. The Only form of payment accepted was CASH or CASH APP for a $15.00 drink in a 9 ounce plastic cup full of ice.

I must say my experience with Zaz was nothing but professional. I ordered a couple of platters for a bday celebration and they exceeded my expectation. Everyone raved not only about the taste of the food but the presentation. Thank you Camelia for adjusting my ordered when asked if I ordered too much and thank you chef for reaching out personally. Would highly recommend Zaz to anyone looking for a caterer at their next gathering.
This is one of Boston’s hidden gems. The food Lick my fingers good. Great atmosphere when dining in and the takeout is always good. I even meal prep and that week I eat good. I also tried their catering option and their stuff was so friendly when they deliver the food and everyone love the food.( picture inserted below). Salmon dish with lo Mein is by far my favorite meal. They have great vegetarian options. There’s something here for everyone. Did I mention their black owned. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars is they’re not consistent with the side sauce that they add with every meal sometimes they added it sometimes they don’t. The Sauce is bomb.

Went to Zaz for a testing for our wedding. Our server was very nice. I had a mimosa slush I believe it was mango it was sooo delicious.
We tried the salmon hush puppies w hadvthe option of chipotle or tamarind sauce. I'm a spicy girl and the chipotle was in point! We also had the macaroni and cheese which is super decadent and gourmet if you add lobster its to die for. We also had the jerk chicken and bbq jerk very authentic you could taste that it was grilled. Chef was very nice and accommodating with the catering menu. I would reccomend for you next wedding or event
The food was absolutely amazing! The Chef greeted us at our table, our waitress was super friendly and the DJ was playing some good music! The cajun seafood hush puppies were so good and the fried snapper and thai fried basil rice was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Absolutely amazing! Will definitely be going back soon!
