The food is amazing… the service not so good. If you are on the lookout for authentic dim sum, fresh, hot, and tasty… look no further… it is pricier than the regular dim sum location, but worth every penny. You will get a paper and choose your options… they will take that and bring it fresh, just cooked dim sum… The steam lobster with garlic is to DIE FOR!

One of the best Chinese restaurant I’ve to. Steam clams and beef chow fun is on another level, I couldn’t believe how good it was. Boston Chinese food deserves a lot more credit, this food exceeds many Chinese restaurants across the continent, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco

Be careful when you eat Salted Egg Yolk Lava Buns. It tasted good but it really exploded on my coat, sweater, and vest and it was very hard to clean.

If you’re looking for amazing lobster and a quiet spot for lunch, then this is it. Admittedly I was getting a bit antsy waiting on the meal because the staff was a bit slow, but then I had to remind myself that I’m there for the experience. I’ve eaten from here twice - once takeout, the last time a solo lunch. It’s a classic Chinese restaurant. Could it use some improvements? Absolutely. Do you know what it looks like before you sit? Yes. Could certain things be better? Yes, but I also understand certain things are cultural. I’d go back and wait forever for that delicious ginger scallion lobster.

Great spot in Chinatown for lobster dishes and dim sums. Got recommended by one of my friends to try the dim sum lunch specials from this place. From the outside, they didn’t seem like a dim sum specialty store, but I was surprised to find that they offer a huge variety of dim sums. We ordered some buns and dim sums to share, and their signature stir-fried lobster with glutinous rice. Most of the dim sums we tried were good, and my favorite was the deep-fried pork dumplings. The true highlight of the meal was the stir-fried lobster. Granted, it seemed like they used a lot of MSG seasoning, but the combination of crispy lobster meats and pork fried rice was very satisfying. Overall, the quality of the dim sums here was similar to those that are served at typical dim sum spots in Chinatown. While I wouldn’t come back just to have their dim sums, I am interested in trying some of their other fried seafood entrées.

5 Years ago, I gave this place 2 stars after one bad experience. Since then, I dinned there for business several times, and I was amazed on how good the food and service have become. I will definitely be going there more often.

The cooking standard a bit lower than Hong Kong or Guangdong. But heck nice to eat some dim sum flavour out of my home nest

Wow, Jumbo Seafood provided a delightful experience. You walk into the restaurant and are immediately greeted with an assortment of aquatic life, begging to be on your plate. Nonetheless, we ordered beef with noodles, chicken with broccoli, and scallion pancakes. Our waiter was attentive and advised us well. Thank you Jumbo!

Jumbo Seafood in Chinatown, Boston focuses on Cantonese food. Prior to Jumbo Seafood, the restaurant was called New Jumbo and was more Sichuan. Then the origjnal owner of Jumbo reopened the restaurant. The food was outstanding at New Jumbo and equally great at Jumbo. The restaurant was packed the evening I went. My server was very good. The chairs and tables look new, but the carpeting is the same aa before. One note for improvement: C83 is supposed to come with a salted egg yolk, according to the description on Jumbo's menu. It didn't. I brought this to my server's attention and she said a salted egg yolk would make the pork dish too messy. That doesn't make any sense to me. Jumbo should change the description in its menu to not include the egg yolk. The spicy and sour fish had a good flavor. The pork dish was delicious. The hot and sour soup was really good, but I prefer the version that the previous restaurant served. They take American Express.

Pretty much like being in Hong 🇭🇰 Kong! The menu is broad with many options. The service is fast, tea is great and the taste of the food took me back to the streets of Hong Kong, I would recommend to try the entrees and the soup. Also the fried rice is quite good and enough to share with your family or friends! By the end of the day you will need to ask for a box to take home because it is delicious and you don't want to waste a piece of it. I will definitely comeback and enjoy the sea food with a delicious Tsing Tao 🍺 Beer!
