I love this place...And they have a parking lot if you get there early enough… Great food… Irish charm and if you’re lucky you’ll see the great Ray Flynn
Great food, great service & great overall experience.... highly recommend.... 👍🏻🍀
Shenannigans is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and an excellent value. We had the pizza and a teriyaki chicken salad and I would highly recommend both. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They also have ample seating - both indoor and outdoor.
Good place to stop in, watch a game, and have a beer. Tuna wontons was great but was more of a dip, and that wasn’t expected. Salmon could use some seasoning but overall was fine.
Saturday is full even after lunch hour. The decor was very classy retro, clean with good lighting. The layout with the bar that divides the dining area was expected but nice. Good atmosphere. Agonist full house. The wait staff were fantastic.
The clam chowder item sits on the bottom of the menu. Don’t be fooled. It’s one of the best I’ve had in Boston. I love this dish and order at every outing. This one is so creamy full of chunks, mmm, so savory. My only regret was I only ordered a cup instead of a bowl. I finished and watched while a friend across me enjoyed a bowl. Dang it. The nachos with chili fries were really good too. This appetizer came with sour cream and tomato dip on the side but the chili poured over the nachos were excellent on it’s own. The jalapeños pieces are spicy so careful. The drinks and food prices were less than other bars and restaurants in the area. Check it out.
Food was good and the service was really good. Definitely worth going if you in southie.
All of the food was good, and it wasn't too expensive either.
I got the Shenanigans chicken pasta from their daily specials menu. The sauce, pasta, vegetables, and everything was perfect, but the chicken was overcooked. Unfortunately, this wasn't just me, another person in my party ordered the same dish and their chicken was overcooked as well.
Overall, still a good place, with a particularly amazing atmosphere. Warm lighting, the loud chatter of a bar, and while we were there, a live artist actually played, and it was really enjoyable.
Excellent cocktails wow!! And you CANNOT go wrong with the fish and chips. Literally falling apart deliciousness.
The bar tender was attentive but there should have been 2 bar tenders for the amount of people there were.
Aside from that the place is great though I wish they would turn on a fan to circulate the air.
Waitress/Bartender was excellent. Mature staff know how to please customers. My wife and I had chicken pot pie and lamb gyro, both excellent. We are both picky and were not disappointed. We were nervous Kansans going to Boston for 1st time but most everyone we met were very nice.

One of the better places in Southie for food/ drinks and good staff. Dominic is a hoot... great guy with an eye for decorating !!! Good price for everything compared to " up the street". Dry a visit to the Clock also for a quick drink next door...old Southie tavern. Hope they stay the way they are!
Love this food. Reasonable. Nice portions. Fresh vegetables, never frozen!! They always had live music when I went.
