Had a fun time eating here. Rolled in about 6 on a Tuesday and got seated immediately. Our waiter made a few excellent recommendations which we followed. A fun and reasonably priced outing. My only issue is that the space is pretty wide open and we had a loud mouth seated near by. But luckily, we were a good way through our meal prior to the noise starting.
The starters were amazing. Deserts were a bit fluidic. Sad to know Apple Pay not accepted. But overall quite good.
Absolutely loved this place! We came with a large party and had an amazing time. The food and drinks were great, service was perfect. Our server gave us a list of items he recommended we try, which I thought was a nice touch. We stayed for a while, so really appreciate them accommodating us! Will definitely be back
Estragon helped me host a private party of 25 recently and they were so great! The owners were very flexible and helpful, very communicative, and reasonably priced. The food was amazing, all of our guests enjoyed the food and excellent cocktails! The private room has a great vibe, broody and romantic with a huge bookshelf lining one wall. We were so happy with the experience! Thank you so much Estragon!
Fabulous go-to spot in the South End, if for a full meal (the paella is delicious), to a few tapas and unique drinks. The Delta Dawn and Espresso Martini are highly recommended! GREAT and friendly staff.
Another amazing Google maps find. Plenty of street parking without having to pay after 18:00 during the week. My wife is a vegetarian and really enjoyed her selections. I enjoyed my meat-based tapas. We also had delicious adult beverages. The service was great and our server Brian has been with Estragon Tapas from day #1, 13 years ago. We will definitely be returning and hopefully sooner than later. Plus nice outdoor seating.
Pretty chill, quiet place even on a weekend, but good food and drinks! My favorite was the arugula baked goat cheese salad. I would have liked if the Patatas bravas had the crema in addition to the spicy sauce. Sangria pitcher was fun too! Server was friendly, it was a little buggy sitting outside though by the plants (which were a kind of overgrown).
Superb meal here tonight! Brian, our server, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and has been with the restaurant since its conception. The meal was as if we were back in Madrid. Delicious food and great deal as part of the Dine Out Boston week! We will definitely be returning to try more dishes.
Great tapas place in the heart of the south end! We came here for a socially distant dinner, and were treated quite well. The octopus, flan, chicken empanadas, and lamb sliders in particular were highlights. Drinks were tasty as well and made for the summer. Apart from service being a tad sluggish, this was definitely a good experience and would definitely visit again.
Good food and friendly service.
The environment was very chill, quiet and interior was pretty.
My favorite was the seafood tapas and pork empanadas.
-Gambas: pretty good with itself but make sure to request a bread. Bread was little cold but was no problem because it tied well with the shrimps and olive oils in gambas.
-Seafood tapas: great portion for 2-3 people. Alot of seafoods inside with savory flavor of the rice. The bottom layer of the rice is crispy.
-Pork Empanadas: three pieces. nothing special but I’d say it was classic.
Overall, it was a great experience.
