I was in Boston visiting my mom who had just had surgery. We walked the Boston common, and needed a beer and a good place to sit down and eat after our stressful day. Kind of felt out of place with all three in my party wearing jeans and t-shirts. However the staff did not turn us away, the helped us get the perfect beer, which might I add the bartender managed to do on the first try. The Boar meatballs were over the top spicy, but full of flavor. The BLT was packed full of thick bacon and on an olive bread. I don't like olives but the sandwich was perfect! And the house made aioli was to die for, with a hint of smokiness. We will definitely be returning for lunch or even dinner sometime in the future. Someone had recommend the Tip Tap Room to us, im so glad that they did!

This place was recommended as a must by a gent we met while in town on business. And...this place is an absolute must if you're in Boston. The drink selection is Top Notch and...While looking at the menu the entrees all sounded so good, instead of each of us ordering something, we just ordered ALL of the entrees and passed them around. Best. Decision, Ever. While I must say the Pork Chops were my favorite, each was an exercise in excellence with each dish featuring some unique aspect that made it unique to this restaurant. Did I take pics of our food? Yep. Will I post? Nope! Because the photos don't do it justice. Definitely worth checking out!

Came for the beer, stayed for all the food. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars. It’s been a while where every single thing about a place was Excellent! The Wings, the Bao Buns, the Dumplings, the pulled pork sliders, and the brownies dessert were all amazing. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The beers were also great. Service was great. It’s worth the little walk from the parks and the prices you see but ever so worth it. 10 stars.

What a blast! The vast selection of drafted beers had me go in there. Loved the widowmaker IPA. The Veggie Burger is from another planet and opened up new taste bud horizons. Please try it. Plus, super attentive and friendly staff. Will sure come back. Thank you so much!

I didn’t come here to eat but given the time of the day it was (Being around 4:30 Pm), after a meeting at the place , I decided to get something to eat. I also don’t come out to Boston often (specially to eat) so this I one of my most outside my normal paradigm review but here it goes: Look, if you want a great ambience, great tasting food at an AMAZING location, look no further. We had wings and steak (took the steak to go and will be editing the review later with news on the steak) but judging by what we had, it must be AWESOME. Anyways, I’ll come back here with my family in the summer time to enjoy some great tasting food with the doors open. Congratulations to the management and owners for running such a right ship. Highly recommend!

Go for: The great beverage selection, a well-balanced food menu, and terrific service all-around. Avoid if: You are driving here from out of town. It's on one of Boston's busiest streets and parking options nearby are minimal. Something surprising: The chef has been associated with a number of restaurants cherished by Bostonians, past and present. Reservation needed? Probably a good idea, but the wait for walk-ins is rarely bad. Overall Experience: 4/5. Easy to get to, excellent beer selection, well-executed food, friendly and professional service staff (including the servers, hosts, bartenders, etc.), relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. This is a place you go back to over and over again with family and friends. Value for Price: 4 Sanitation: 4 Food Quality: 4 Menu Precision: 4 Service Quality: 4 Timing: 4 Decor: 4 Access: 4 — 5 among the best 4 strong 3 not too bad 2 mediocre 1 never again

This restuarant was out of this world! The Asian Fusion twist is very well executed. We had the Bao buns and the pots stickers which were possibly the best we've ever had, and we eat a lot of Asian food. They have an extensive beer selection and fun cocktail list.

The staff really knows their stuff. Great selection of whiskey too. Had a great time hanging out and catching up with friends. My only recommendation is to update your ice game for the whiskey lovers

Went before the Bruins game last night and the Drinks and Food were fantastic. The place has a great vibe and really good service. We had the Dumplings, Wings and then the Chorizo and Steak Burger… all were good, it not sure I would get the wings again.

Pretty decent experience at tip tap room on a Friday night. Staff was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. Accommodating for gluten free options for drinks. Mixed reviews all together on the food - the appetizers were a hit, as were the turkey tips. My friend didn’t love the cut / how her steak tips were cooked, though. I’d still come back here for a fun relaxed night in beacon hill!

The Tip Tap Room is a good place to go, but I do think it can be overpriced for dinner. The steak in the Steak Frites is really good but the fries are just ok. I’ve had brunch here before as well and would recommend. The beer selection on draft is impressive and makes this a place a good hangout spot with friends after work.

A great location for large groups! Pictured is my first course a roasted tomato basil bisque with a fried mozzarella grilled cheese. It loses a star because this dish was delicious (the best soup in the city easily) but small and overpriced. $15 for 6 oz of soup.
