Very cozy! Had lunch on the outside area on a warmer fall day, had some mac and cheese with tomato soup. Comfort food all the way!! It was an amazing choice. The environment inside was kinda crowded/squished so we sat outside. The service was great!
Absolutely some of THE BEST sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The Le Mistral definitely ranks in my top 5 sandwiches of all time. I split this sandwich along with Rachel’s Hot Sister, which I also enjoyed. We also enjoyed the broccoli caesar salad. The sandwiches here might be on the more expensive side, but they are huge and definitely worth it. Their sides could be improved slightly, but I wasn’t focused as much on those. Hope to come back again soon!
Working and needed some dinner ordered the PARISH CHICKEN and the HALF BOWL-O-RINGS. Wow the onion rings golden brown and delicious lightly battered crispy and not oily they are so good! The baked buttermilk chicken, tomato, lettuce, cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, house pickles and chipotle aioli. served on a deluxe roll and sided with potato salad. Bacon cooked crispy, the chicken was so moist and juicy the bread was fresh the cheese was melted the pickles great blend with aioli together. This sandwich so fricken good! The potato salad was ok and tasty as well. Onion rings and sandwiches are a must here! Will be ordering again from here when I need dinner.
I enjoyed a late evening dinner at the Parish Cafe & Bar in Back Bay Boston on Sunday, October 22, 2023 with a group of friends.
Service was excellent and responsive within a well packed restaurant. The menu was great with a variety of healthier and lighter fare options, including sandwiches and salads.
I really enjoyed my sandwich and pasta salad combo.
The cafe also had a great selection of craft beers.
Great service and great sandwich. We had the le Mistral. All the sandwiches are local chefs recipes they teach them to make. They also have a huge craft beer selection.
Such a fun menu! Had the spicy Mexican meatballs. DELICIOUS but holy heat! You must like spice to enjoy. Bread was so good to dip in the "au jus"
Apparently the BLT is to die for! Son would share
This was our meeting place after the Marathon. I was most excited about having a coffee after avoiding it during training and it did not disappoint!🤣After waiting for longer than typical given the crowd, we were finally seated. Atmosphere was great, leek bisque was delicious. Lamb kabob, pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and meatball were all very well received. Would recommend based on this experience.
Drawing inspiration from celebrated restaurants across Greater Boston, Parish Café presents a unique sandwich experience.
During my recent visit, my friend and I shared the Hawaii 5-0 and the Parish Chicken. Each sandwich was a meal unto itself, generously proportioned and painstakingly assembled. The Hawaii 5-0 married sweet and savory in an unexpected yet delightful combination. Layers of sweetness from grilled pineapple, Hawaiian roll, and the coleslaw beautifully complemented the pulled BBQ pork. The final layer of American cheese then melted into the sandwich, bringing a creaminess that rounded out the flavors.
The Parish Chicken sandwich was also quite good. This sandwich featured simple flavors by using traditional ingredients for burgers – lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon. The buttermilk chicken was tender, and I liked the hint of spice from the chipotle aioli. Accompanying both sandwiches was a side of potato salad, which might seem simple in its presentation but is delightfully creamy, offering a soothing counterbalance to the intricate flavors of the sandwiches.
Although the prices at Parish Café & Bar are certainly on the higher end for lunch options, the premium is more than justified by the sheer quality. With its innovative, scrumptious sandwiches, Parish Café & Bar promises a singular, gourmet experience that's well worth the indulgence.
Each time I visit Parish Cafe, my expectations are blown out of the water!! They have an amazing tap beer selection and have a sweet menu that pairs each beer to sandwiches to match the notes in the best way possible. I love this place and couldn’t recommend it more!
The fox is my favorite. The lemistral, dvar are also really good. The hawaian is good. The genesis is too sweet for me. Avoid the eggplant milanessa. Small feedback last time I went my veal was a bit burn :/
