First time trying El Matador 2 and it was delicious! I had the small carnitas tacos for $1.50 each and the Sopa de res. Will definitely come back!

Bring some quarters for parallel parking in front of the restaurant. There is some really nice outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant. The street corn, quesadillas, and tacos were really good!

Delicious! Love coming here for Taco Tuesday. The pulled pork tacos are my favorite. Can’t beat the value or quality!

El Matador has really stepped up to the plate with their outdoor dining since COVID began. From the front it may look like they are closed but they have an awesome outdoor seating area under a large lit tent on a patio in the rear of the restaurant.
The entrance to that patio area is to the side of the building but does have a large sign to let you know it’s there. As always the food and the service was excellent, and reasonably priced to boot. A definite thing to note is the restaurant is BYOB so bring a drink and enjoy the delicious food and outdoor seating.

This place is absolutely the best for authentic Mexican food. They create a sense of family and are super friendly! They deserve more stars but 5 is the max! It’s BYOB! what’s not to love ??

Authentic Mexican in Bloomfield! Love this this place and it’s part of our regular restaurant rotation. Staff and owner are friendly. Portions are generous and most importantly, food is tasty!!!

Just visited El Matador for the first time tonight. My wife and I loved being there because it reminded us so much of the Mexican places we used to go to when we lived in Houston. Love the decorations and the staff was really nice. The food was really good too. The tortillas were fresh. The three different salsas were all really good. They seasoned the meat really well. Really enjoyed this place and we’re going to be regulars.

I came here with no idea before, I was just working the area, and man! You should try to eat something here! The guy is very friendly and the Carne Asada was really good.
