I have lived in Billerica now two years and my landlady got me hooked on this place. The food is great and price is very reasonable and service is good to. I am a chef manager myself, so being in the food industry I can be picky at times but this place I can honestly say is a good place to eat at and to bring your family and friends to :). Yes there will be times where the food or service might be off but I never had any problems returning the food and I come here a lot. Lets face it no place is perfect, each will have its up and downs but this place has more ups and very little downs. The waitress Holly is great and the owner Bob is very friendly. Thanks guys for making Stelios my second home. Rob
I been coming to Lowell 8 years years now this is the first time going to Stelio's Family Restaurant it was a great experience and I'll be going back again.. Our server was on point and she did a great job..
This place is a staple in our family. Any time we visit we always go here. Great food, lovely service with smiles and chuckles, and the food is delicious and plentiful. My husband gets the grilled chicken sandwich every time because they give you 2 good size pieces of chicken! My mother and I love the pasta and they always give you plenty of protein 😋 OH and the desserts are out of this world! I can't say enough good things about this place!
Ordered the teriyaki steak and the seafood casserole via door dash and was pleasantly surprised! The seafood was perfect not over cooked like a lot of other places and the steak tips were tasty and tender! Not bad for a random Thursday lunch!
Been driving by this place for years, but always had a doubt because the mixed reviews. Finally gave it a try as part of our try something new in the area.
We went for lunch on Saturday at 12:30. The parking lot is full as there was a baby shower going on in the function room.
It pretty decent American style with a good mix of classic and new dishes.
We ordered veritirs of dishes, Fish Chowder, BBQ Ribs, Baked Haddock , Roasted Lamb, for us, and pasta and chicken fingers for kids.
The chowder had a hearty taste, good for a cold day. The ribs were St Louis style, fall of the bone tender. The baked haddock was very tender, the light touch of butter made the fish very smooth. The baked lamb is tomato based, it could use a kick of flavor. Kids meals are large potion and pretty standard.
Overall, pretty nice place, would come again. The inside of the restaurant was renovated last year compare to some old photos. It has a bit of modern touch now.
6 of us for lunch. Service was good for a large table and a very fussy customer. Food was excellent. Prices are just a bit high for lunch, but not out of reach.
Enjoy the variety of meal options. Greek or Beef or Seafood or any thing really. The portions are generous. I can't have gluten and I can safely eat here. I wish they had a dedicated gluten free fryer.
