Best sushi ever! Super filling. They are big in size and not greedy with the servings! I have tried a bunch of sushi places in Montana but this is the absolute best one yet! The atmosphere is so inviting and you have such a good time here. 10/10 definitely coming back for more date nights!

Best in the Valley by far. Fresh, unique and a chic, mod atmosphere. Most comfortable restaurant seating I’ve been in. Nice seats. Make reservations as it’s a very small place though. Amazing service. Unique rolls - never had nuts in a roll but wow, nice crunch. Wish they had more basic rolls and something more kid friendly. But it’s a nice date night setting or happy hour for sure

We aren't huge sushi fans and were brought by family who swore this place was great. They were not wrong! The rolls were delicious, the service was great, and there was a little something for all of us in our party. For being skeptics, this was an excellent surprise.

My advice would be to read and listen to all of the one star reviews. Going out to dinner and splurging is a treat for my husband and I every so often, so when the experience is diminished by such poor service it is really frustrating. We have been returning customers to this restaurant and sadly won’t ever be back. Samantha was our waitress, and was she not only rude but very condescending and cold. We weren’t even at our table for 1 hour and 15 minutes (most of that time waiting on our food) until she came over and sternly told us that they had another reservation waiting for our table and that we would have to leave, and asked if she could box up our food as she began grabbing things off the table as we were eating… we were shocked and so confused by this as there were other open tables next to us. Never in all of our years of going out to dinner have we ever been kicked out of a table! The way she spoke to us was so rude and so matter-of-fact and she refused to listen to our questions when we asked for clarification. She simply stated it is in the fine print when you book a reservation that you can not stay for longer than 90 minutes, so customers, be aware. Very sad and unprofessional that she handled it in this way. It is evident in the reviews the wait staff prioritizes profit and turning tables over good customer service. We will not be back.

The drinks we had were wonderful. However the music was extremely loud especially when we were seated right under the speaker. we had to almost yell across the table to hear one another. Our waitress realized this and tried to turn down the music but said other waitresses kept turning the music up louder. The rolls were hit and miss. Some rolls we had were amazing and very flavorful others had a interesting fishy taste that seemed off. The atmosphere is very lively and fun minus the overly loud music and the craftsmanship of the rolls were nice.

My family, friends and I have gone to Saketome for several years now for birthdays, celebrations, night outs, whenever relatives are visiting town, you name it. And we have recommended it countless amount of times to friends throughout the valley. Although the food is good, it doesn’t make up for the wait staff, specifically the manager, Heather. She has been our waitress the past 4 times we have visited and it’s not a pleasant experience. Very short/annoyed when we ask questions, argued with us when we politely said our drinks weren’t the ones we ordered, mocked us to other waitstaff. When we left her a 14% tip one night because of bad service she confronted us and said how “chintzy” it was for all she did. Yikes. Once again, she mocked us in front of other waitstaff. Having worked in the restaurant industry before its common knowledge that tips should be earned not expected. When we had other waitress in the past here, we tipped 20% because of how kind they were. We felt bad at first until we read other reviews online having similar issues with her. Sad to say we won’t be going here or recommending this place anymore.

I’ve had sushi in New York, Hawaii, Houston, Florida, Hanoi, and Singapore. This place is closely in contention for one of the better sushi joints I’ve been to.
