This use to be the Best AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant around for miles and miles. Haven’t been in a couple years as we don’t really eat out.
I am so disappointed, it now just another American/Mexican restaurant…ice berg lettuce on a street taco???? What!? No flavor at all either.
I am so sad…one of my favorite places is now not a place I will return.

Salsa is homemade and good, chili relleno is homemade and good, Asada Taco is like a street Taco and good, rice is plain, refried beans are bland and look disgusting. Change your rice and canned beans and make them look appetizing and I'll give you 5 stars!

Two good reasons to stop on 35 near Bigfork:
(1) Excellent Chili Rellenos. Fresh, not frozen! Homemade batter recipe.
(2) Great salsa and chips.
We drive 37 miles each way for this!
Important Note: The family closes the restaurant every year for about 50 days between Thanksgiving and the middle of January (19th 2022).
Expansion: Taco Mexico recently expanded and are double the size.

This is a great Mexican restaurant. It’s just a small, not fancy place with good food and reasonable prices. Definitely the best Mexican food in Bigfork. Especially love the chicken enchiladas.
My review is based on eating in many, many Mexican restaurants throughout Southern California where there is a lot of good authentic Mexican food.
Have gone back to Taco Mexico many times.

Best authentic Mexican food in the Valley. We had a friendly waitress, the quality and taste of the food was delicious

As authentic as it gets in all of Montana. Infact we just returned from a trip to Tri-Cities Washington where I told my son's after they picked a place to eat that it's a shame we have to go further north to Montana to get way better Mexican food.
The entire staff always have a smile for you and the service is prompt.

The food is amazing here!! We just had a take out order from them today and I am ready for their food again tomorrow, it was that good. Very fresh food and generous portions. Customer service was great too.
