The view is spectacular specially during sunset. The stuff are nice and friendly. Food is a little pricey. However it is tasty, we love the chowder. The view itself is something worth visiting in the place. Enjoy the nature and romantic vibe dinner.

This is a gorgeous place on the Big Sur coast. Everything about this restaurant is beautiful. Serene and amazing.
We went there around745 on a Saturday night. The wait was about an hour but there’s a lot of seating available for waiting and the views are gorgeous making the wait totally worth it.
Ambiance is just out of this world.
Food is decent and tasty.
We got the daily special, pesto pasta and the vegetarian burger. The burger was a bit dry but the pasta and the side salad were great.
The chocolate cake was also very grocery store like but I have no complaints because of the amazing dinner experience.
Definitely recommended.

Beautiful views! Service, drinks, and food were phenomenal. Be prepared to wait. We grabbed cocktails and sat on the bench overlooking oaks, horses and the coast. We got a table after a twenty minute wait (we went early for lunch) but as we left we heard people waiting an hour but they have plenty of shaded seating, a cute little shop and cafe, or grab cocktails during your wait. It's a amazing atmosphere!

A unique cafe with pristine views and great drinks.
This is a one of a kind cafe in big sur that offers mesmerizing views of the Pacific from a cliff top. The cafe has a bar and is set mostly with open seating tables. The drinks are excellent and the bartender is super helpful. Food here is fresh and good tasting. One thing they can improve is the selection in the menu especially for vegetarian/vegan folks. There are no vegan options and a single vegetarian Sandwich. However, this place is about the views and should come here to enjoy a meal facing the Pacific. The decor of the cafe is beautiful and quite lively. Gives you a picnic vibe just to be here.

Fantastic place. One of the only places in Big Sur to eat, but the ambiance is one awesome (epic views of the south coast), interior and exterior dining have loads of character, and the service was amazing, waters always full, almost like they enjoy their job! Great cocktails, Fantastic food, we got the special (grilled veggies and sausage over pesto pasta- the veggies were perfectly cooked and full of flavor) and the veggie burger was is vegan and was amazing as well. Highly recommend, an exceptional dining experience anywhere, but stands out due to the beauty of the location.

This place was amazing. Friendly staff. Quick service. Delicious food. Unbelievable vista. If you're driving on 1 and want food, you've got to come here. Shop and café are nice before or after dining. Get the ambrosia burger!

We came here for dinner during our honeymoon while staying locally in Big Sur. The views were stunning, especially during sunset. Parking was ample. We waited about 45 min on a Monday evening, but the bar was open so we enjoyed drinks while we waited on the patio. We had a sausage pasta dish that was on special and the burger. The pasta was great. The burger was a little disappointing - more bun than meat. The fries were underwhelming. For the price we expected a higher caliber of food. You are mostly paying for the views (which are worth it). Service was fantastic.

A fantastic place to get a quick bite and have a glass of wine with a beautiful view! This is a very popular place but there’s plenty of seating and the bar staff is great! I highly suggest getting here right at 11:30 so we can beat the lunch rush
