Edge Restaurant

We recently had our 30-guest wedding dinner here at the patio. The event coordinator Janice was very helpful in answering all our questions. They also allowed us to stay until 10:30pm (a big thank you to the staff!). We decorated the long table with flower vases and it looked beautiful in the evening. We choose the 3 course menu and the pan seared Canadian salmon was awesome. Service was great as well. Wife and I enjoyed our meal and we would recommend to friends!

We had a very pleasant meal. We had the calamari, which had a delicious sauce. The beet salad, it was excellent. The tuna tar tar, it was excellent, split an Angus burger and enjoyed martinis. It was an excellent meal and I would definitely recommend Edge, just make reservations. They also had a Mentalist (Jesse Dameron) going from table to table astounding patrons. He honestly impressed us (and that's not easy). I think he is only there Fridays, but ask when you make your reservation.

Michael, our waiter, was fantastic... especially given what he has to work with. the "gnocchi with duck confit and fried shallots" had 5? gnocchi that wouldn't approximate bad frozen gnocchi, shredded duck, and onion rings. the "beet salad" was a large mound of iceberg lettuce with a small mound of oily beets and goat cheese. the filet mignon was ok. a bit flavorless despite being drowned in some mushroom sauce. would we go again? most likely not. would we recommend it? only to people we don't like.

I have been living and dining in the Lehigh Valley for 10 years and this was hands down the absolute worst dining experience I’ve had. I don’t mind paying for money for a quality dining experience but nothing was good here except the drinks plus our bill was screwed up. The crab cakes were not good at all. They were like Mrs. Paul’s quality, breading and filler, virtually no crab. For $36. The pork my Husband ordered was dry and recommended a particular side for his meal but didn’t mention it was a $6 up-charge. The salmon was also dry and had no flavor. I ordered the veggie goat cheese “pizza” and it was a joke. It wasn’t even pizza. It was like crispy tortillas they sliced in triangles with the toppings. They gave my kids little 7 oz kids cups and charged $3 each time they filled their cups! I payed $15 for apple juice. We ordered the baked Brie appetizer and they said “just let us know if you need more bread.” It only came with a few pieces, so we asked for more bread, and they charged us for it!! Finally, the waitress said she was giving us a free piece of peanut butter pie for celebrating a birthday. Then 2 minutes later brought the check out that had a $10 charge for it. That was taken care of but then noticed there was a charge for a $14 drink we didn’t order. The whole thing was disappointing!!

We ate here around Valentines day this year. I cant say that there was anything wrong with the restaurant, food, or service but dinner left my wife and I feeling meh. The food was fine but nothing on either of our plates was truly delicious. The salad and appetizers were equally okay, again nothing special. I love spending my dining out dollars at local establishments, but we probably will not be back.

Really bad experience, went there for our sons birthday, on a Monday night lousy service, Fair Food. 1:40 minutes for entrees, Spoke with the waitress about the delays, and she said your order is next from the 50 minute mark. Spoke to the manager, and supposedly they dropped our dinners on the way out at the hour 20 mark. Yes they did at least comp the meal but he evening was ruined. This is not the Edge of old. Paper napkins, no bread, and lousy service, this in a $75/plate restaurant. I cant explain what has happened to service in this country and waiter or waitress that would hustle in a place like this could easily pull 100k a year. But, its more like diner type service.... Sorry to see such a great restaurant go down hill so badly. Based on recent reviews my experience is not alone. Owner, please figure out what went wrong, we want the old Edge back.
