Pacific Standard Tap Room

Came in for a SF Beer Week Event and I was not disappointed. They were a little understaffed, but the bartender took it in stride, so I ain't tripping on that. The Cinnamon Rolls were good stuff, and the beer was all top notch. Lots of options, but Half Moon Bay Brewing and guest brews. Definitely worth a stop.

I had a flight. They brought out a beer I didn't order. When o said something, the waitress apologized, said she would bring out what I wanted, and never returned. The beer I did have was not good. The stout and porter were not as thick as they should be. Tastes like they did not use enough grains (which is how they save money), but this really effects the style and mouthfeel. Ambience is cool. The coffee porter needs more coffee. The dark mild ale was mediocre. I will never come back here again. And I LOVE going to breweries.

A great tap room. About two dozen beers on tap, with a good balance of styles and lots of local breweries represented. Nice selection of snacks to go with the beer, but nothing you can easily make a big meal out of. Prices are on the higher end but the place is nice, the bar is well-staffed with great bartenders, and service is outstanding.
