I’ve been going to this place for almost 20 years while ownership may have changed it still one of my fav places to get jaja meng noodles for cheap. And they are delicious. I think they still make the noodles from scratch

GREAT RESTAURANT!!!! First we ordered the pork and Chinese chives dumplings which taste GREAT. They come with a sauce that makes them taste even better. I ordered the Bear's Ramen House curry noodles which tasted amazing as well! Overall, great quality of food. The location of the restaurant is nice as well with pleasant outdoor and indoor seating. Truly, a hidden gem of Asian food in Bear's Ramen House !!!

Worst packaging ever. Why not just pour my $15 soup directly into the plastic bag instead of pretending to have a functional container that leaks everywhere. The food itself is okay but there are a lot of other places in berkeley to get ramen who know how to package it so it doesn’t spill everywhere. I feel terrible for the delivery people who pick up this ticking time bomb of spilled soup and negative customer ratings

Good food, though read the menu carefully! The dishes are all rather inventive (ie spicy pork loin Bear's Ramen House in peanut lime cilantro pork broth) and if you don't pay attention you'll be surprised. I've been twice: once the wait was minimal and once it was about an hour, which sucked.

Now I HAVE had ramen here before (or becayse it's Korean ramen...ramyun), but what really stands out are the specialty dishes. Im talking things like kimchi jeon and their spicy rice cakes. It's honestly so hard to find old Korean stuff around here and I have to say that Bear's tops it. I order from this place all the time and it's so good to have a nice, real Korean dish for once.

This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a fair supper, this is the place that comes first to my mind. fresh and all sorts of food and a rich menu.courteous staff, and good spirit. Not less important, the price is affordable. I suggest this spot with pleasure.
