My sister told me to go here after I told her I had a client meeting in Berkeley. I came in at 2:30 (they close at 3pm) and everything looked amazing on the menu. They ferment and pickle their hot sauce for months before making those peppers into gloriousness if that tells you anything about the quality of what you are about to experience. I decided to go with a simple burger (organic, non hormone) with bacon. A) I was craving red meat that day/time of month and B) I had a big day still ahead of me, no dinner. Best hamburger ever. Ever!! So moist (I went go it, medium rare) and delicious. Thick. Uber thick with magic bbq sauce (I don't like on my burger but theirs was divine), and 2 slices think Applewood bacon that spewed over sides. I had 1/2 fries (had to taste) and 1/2 salad. My palm of salad was extraordinary with some shaved sweet yellow beet rounds to die for and a light whisper of dressing allowing the raw yum to hum. Even the lettuce was divine. Frrnchfries? Bits of parsley and well, french fries. But good! I had a Rockie. Homemade pomegranate with lime. They were making some watermelon concoction while I ate (last customer). Even their nonalcoholic drinks are art. I must go again. And again
