Wendy's

I almost never go to Wendy's even though there is one close to where I live. We were on a day trip and this Wendy's was one of only two places we saw to stop for lunch. It was very busy and took a little longer to get our food than we are used to for fast food. However, the food was nice and hot. The burgers were awesome! The staff was friendly. The cost was almost as much as a sit-down restaurant, but our lunch turned put to be a nice change on a special car trip stop.

Plenty of staff wandering around, note the use of the word wandering. I've waited in this drive through to place an order for over 10 min, with no one in front of me, to get to the window and see 5 people there -3 of which were just standing there doing nothing. Or the multiple times I've stood at the counter waiting to order, no one in front of me, while multiple employees walk right past the register and don't take my order. There's a jack in the box opening soon here and I don't like jack in the box, but I'm guessing anyone's customer service is better than this.

They weren't accepting cash the day I went. It took me about 20 minutes to get to the speaker. The lady that was at the speaker informed me that they were only accepting cash and that she would be with me in a minute. About 15 minutes went by, and still no one came to the speaker. I couldn't get out of the line because the truck infront of me didn't allow me to. Unfortunately this is something that always happens at this location. I went there approximately 4 times in a spam of 8 months, at different times in the day and same issue. Very very long waits. I'm only speaking for the drive thru area. Not sure if it is the same issue if you physically get off and order inside.

Today will be my last time here. Now that soon we will have 2 new fast foods in Benson. My food was cold. I was the only one in drive thru and waited almost 10 minutes for food. Then they forgot my frosties, then when I got them one was so over filled it was handed to me running down the sides. I gave it back for another and just got a look of really. No thank you except by me the customer.

I just tried to go to the drive through and was told that there only taking cash. Due to there card reader machines are down. I asked how long they have been down and a girl at the loud speaker replies since yesterday today is 3-28-22 Yesterday was 3-27-22. I bet she was lying cuz a little unknown secret is that 1hr to thirty mins the help at a lot of fast food restaurants say that the card readers down to detour ppl from ordering and making there clean up and nights work easier!! Sad stuff that they have no work ethic! Also this is not the first time this has happened at this specific Wendy’s it happens almost ever night last hour to 30 min close time!
