Primo Pizza

I’ve been having lunch here several days a week for years and I have had nothing but great food and outstanding service. The owner is their every day cooking and waiting on customers. But the greatest assets to Primo Pizza is the help up front at the registers. They are always juggling phone calls, walk-in customers, and countless to-go orders. And, at the top of that list is Kirsten. She has been working here since I’ve been coming in, and she has always been friendly, accommodating, and always accurate with what I order…even when I am the one who is not sure what I want. 🙂 Keep up this great work and great attitude, especially during this difficult time for restaurants. I absolutely recommend Primo Pizza in Bellingham for the great food and fantastic service. You will not be disappointed!

So we call to order a large carbonara pizza and the girl on the phone taking the order says they don’t have that. My mom tells her well I’m looking at it on your menu as a specialty pizza. She asks the ingredients she says she got it and that it’s all set and hangs up the phone. Doesn’t ask for name, give order number, or pickup time. We go to pick up the order… I’m a trans female with extremely feminine features and this girl doesn’t look at me directly or speak to me with a full voice beyond a whisper. I’m used to this kind of stuff so I give her the card even tho I couldn’t hear what she said. I get to the car with the pizza and check my bank. They charged me 27.76 for a pizza they advertise as 18.99 on their menu. Like on the present current menu inside the store above the counter. So I go back inside to get the issue corrected and the manager keeps referring to me as a man even though I’m 118 lbs, have no facial hair, very well developed anatomy, and am holding a bedazzled purse. Never again. I don’t care how good the pizza is.

Pizza was greasy, but edible. I guess they don't encourage dining there, cuz I swear there was no heat. We were hoping to have a nice night out. Not too classy, but decent. Instead we froze eating our pizza. Would I make this my go to, nope. If you heat the place: I might come back once in awhile. Just cuz I'm fair & try to support mom and pop places.

Honestly really solid pizza. I went into it with a bias, since Famous is my favourite pizza in town. But Primo doesn't disappoint at all! It's a different style, so there's more than enough room in town for Primo. The sauce is sweet with a great tomato flavour, always cooked perfectly, and they are insanely fast. 10 out of 10. Would smash again!
