Applebee's

"Fancy Like" brought me into Applebee's for the first time! We didn't order bourbon street steak or Oreo milkshake. What did we order? Yes, I am the one who ordered a salad at Applebee's. I don't think Walker Hayes would've included a salad in Fancy Like lyrics. However, I expected more greens for the Oriental Chicken Salad as it was mostly crispy rice noodles. The greens did look a bit wilted. The rib for the Prime Rib Dipper is quite salty. The dipper didn't help bring the saltiness down. The Four Cheese Mac & Cheese, with honey pepper from the chicken tenders and cheese does not taste good. Boneless wings Four cheese Mac & Cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders oriental chicken salad Riblet plate The prime rib dipper The boneless wings and riblet plate were the star dishes for my first Applebee's experience. The service from the host and server was good.

1st Canadian in Appleby's in Bellingham I am sure since US border opened this morning Nov 8th...lol Prior to flight drove over looking for breakfast. It opened at 11am so no breakfast but had a decent lunch menu. All Covid protocols in place except they dont ask or check I had a Cajun Salmon lunch which was delicious. Brett the server was a pro and brought the bill promptly when I asked for it. Decent meal and great service. Can't go wrong with Appleby's ......

I have ordered multiple times on late nights after work when I don’t feel like making a meal , and they are good fairly decently priced meals , with a awesome amount of customization you can do via apps like door dash. I get people expect more, but for a commercial chain restaurant with the sizeable menu they do a good job. Can’t speak on In house service , but most definitely grateful for their approach to take out ; never cold , shakes even still cold.
