Nice place wirh a typical Mexican decors for Americans, large menu and huge portions. Good customer service and typical drinks. Was a nice place and another option in the area for Mexican food.

After covid restrictions and cross boarder open again, its time for to go to my favouriteMexican restaurant again. This place has some renovations since the last time we ate in 2019. The food is just authentic Mexican. Portions are huge.

Great mexican food! We went here about 2 years ago and loved the place. Couldn't go back due to covid but was able to go again last evening. Servers are alsl super nice and both quantity and quality are good!!

It was ok overall , big portions but taste isn’t that good , drinks are awesome , staff is very friendly , tacos were plain and tasteless . If I would go there again? Not sure

We had the El Gitano burrito special and the pollo en mole. They totally hit the spot. Chips and salsa plus the horchata were also delicious. Would come back and try other menu items - especially the ones that I don’t typically see offered in Mexican or Tex Mex restaurants.

I've loved Mexican food all my life and my Grandson recommended this restaurant. El Gitano has the best chili rellanos I have ever had! Loved the warm tortillas and salsa. The salsa was so good I wanted to drink it. One of the people with me ordered a burrito and the other ordered a combo meal. The servings were generous and delicious. Wait staff were attentive and polite. Can't wait to go back!

EDIT May 2021. I advise CALLING IN your order, don't do it online. They don't know how to coordinate apparently and my order was completed 30 minutes beyond the time I was given. One hour total. Great food but.... That's too long.

WOW. Excellent and varied vegetarian options with HUGE serving sizes. We got delivery and the items were still warm and tasty when they arrived. We ordered four entrees: tofu enchiladas, spinach enchiladas, veggie burrito, and veggie tamales. All were excellent (though the veggie tamales could use more veggies and less corn). Very good chips and fresh salsa also. Highly recommended!
